Season 4, Episode 5: For Cryin' Out Loud

Ahhh yes, the annoying baby crying episode!!! -_- Did they really have projects in school like that for students. Pretending to be a married couple for an assignment??? O_o Ehhhh, ok, so Tommy and Kat are paired up and for some reason, Kat thinks it's a good idea to add a baby into the equation, because they really need to make this realistic I guess. Anyway, when the baby starts crying, Mondo and the rest of the royal house of gadgetry come up with a plan. Mostly Prince Sprocket who believes making the baby's cry louder would make it excruciatingly painful for the rangers that they won't be able to fight properly. Of course, Sprocket never really came up with the plan as Orbis point out as they keep fighting throughout the episode in hilarious fashion.

Anyway, while the baby is sleeping after Tommy puts him to bed, the Boohoo monster arrives to put a spell on baby Joey to amplify his the volume of his crying. The next day at school, when he starts to cry, it creates an earthquake. When the rangers realize it's the baby crying that causing the quake, they make him stop while Tommy and Billy go to the Power Chamber and find out a way to reverse the spell. While Kat and Rocky take care of the baby, Tanya and Adam arrive outside and almost wake up the baby. When the rangers and the baby are confronted by the Boohoo monster and a squad of Cogs, the rangers alert Tommy and he teleports there to morph with them. After a quick morph sequence (Boooooo!!!!), the rangers begin their fight against Boohoo monster and the Cogs while Alpha teleports there to watch Joey. But during the fight, the Cogs capture Joey and power down Alpha.

To rescue them, the rangers turn Alpha back on as he tracks them to the Angel Grove Power Planet as Mondo plans to use the baby and monster destroy the rangers as well as the town's energy source. At the plant, the rangers head back to action and fight off the Cogs while Tommy goes after Joey. Some more Cogs get in his way and he almost falls due to Boohoo monster attacking him but he manages to get to Joey safely. But when Joey becomes in danger when his carriage begins to fall, Tommy jumps after him and saves him....only to find the carriage empty. Luckily, Billy teleported him to safety as the rangers continue their fight with Boohoo monster. Suddenly, Quadrafighters attack and the rangers use their Zeo pistols to fire back. When Boohoo monster attacks again, Tommy summons his Zeo I Power weapon; A sword with a star on it to damage the monster.

Clank and Orbis soon make him grow and the rangers summon their Zeo Zords to make the Zeo Megazord.  With the Zeo Megazord, the rangers finish off Boohoo monster once and for all. Ohh yeah, Bulk and Skull are in this episode too....anyway, Overall, this episode was pretty mediocre. I didn't care for the storyline or much of the action. I like the Zeo fight music though. It's another win for Ron Wasserman, the composer of the franchise, in my book! :)
