MMAR Season 3.5, Episode 3: Climb Every Fountain

Well, at least I'm glad Lord Zedd and Rita managed to score another victory over the rangers this episode. Only there's one thing I don't understand, if the rangers exist in a time where they haven't discovered the temple yet with Ninjor, then how do they STILL have their new power coins??? Also, the Shogun zords weren't discovered until Finster found them so how do the rangers still have those too. Ehhhhh, this stuck back in time storyline makes no sense!!! O_O Anyway, So Billy comes up with a re-generator to bring the rangers back to their original ages. But of course, Rito and Goldar aren't far behind and want to go after the rangers' power coins. We get yet ANOTHER humiliating scene where the little rangers and a school bus full of kids OWN Rito and Goldar. I mean Rito can make the bus driver dose off and sleep but not a school bus full of children, Jesus these WRITERS!!! O_o

Anyway, we learn Cestro is the scientific one of the group (Hmmm, I guess it must be a Blue Ranger thing) when suddenly, the Aquitians start to feel weak. It's because they are quickly losing hydration and need to be sent to a large body of water to do so. So Alpha teleports them to a fountain, hence the title of the episode. Meanwhile, the little rangers meet and use the Power Coins to activate the re-generator. As the little rangers do this, Rito and Goldar have been following them on Lord Zedd's request to destroy the power coins.  As Billy uses the re-generator to go back to being a teenager Rito and Goldar arrive to steal the machine and destroy it. Soon Rita and Zedd arrive to use their staffs to destroy all the power coins. WOW!!! O_O As the rangers and teen Billy sit in shock, Lord Zedd is proud of Rito doing something right and then turns Billy's re-generator in the latest monster, Slotsky.....yes.......moving on!!

As the little rangers are teleported back to the Command Center, they wonder where the Aquitains are. Alpha teleports Billy to the fountain to warn them of the upcoming battle with the monster, who arrives just as Billy's ADR sounds forced and awkward!!! The hell was that!?? O_o Anyway, the Aquitains morph and fight off the Tengas as the world witnesses them fighting for the first time. They defeat the Tengas then take on Slotsky, who is eventually made bigger by Rita and Zedd. The Alien Rangers call on their Battle Borgs and they combine them to form a final attack that finishes off the monster. As Angel Grove celebrates the Alien Rangers with a metal bestowing ceremony, the little rangers and Billy wonder what will happen now that they have no Power Coins.......Overall, this was a MUCH better episode than the last two but still I'm finding this mini-series to be a bit dull. Oh well....
