MMAR Season 3.5, Episode 5: Attack of The 60' Bulk

Awww, it's a water park episode where we get to watch the little rangers and Billy have fun for half an episode....yeah...ok forgive me but I'm gonna run through this episode as fast as possibly because this mini-series is wearing thin and I'm losing concentration as I write this review. So while our Earthbound heroes have fun, Rita and Zedd come up with a scheme to....sigh...turn one of the biggest bullies into a monster. Turns out, the biggest bully is Bulk after he and Skull sabotage the rangers' fun. Also I'm sorry, I have to wonder, what are Billy's parents thinking happened to him. If they are in the past and Billy is a teenager wouldn't they wonder how that happened???!! Omg, this plot makes no sense!!! -_- Errggghhh anyway, they turn Bulk into their latest monster, Brat Boy....oh for the love of....anyway, with Brat Boy on the loose the Alien Rangers are needed.

Zordon contacts the Alien Rangers on Aquitar as they finish recharging, rehydrating, etc. as they morph and head to Angel Grove. They immediately arrive and lure the Brat Boy away from the others and just flip around and have fun as he blasts them...sigh. Anyway, eventually Rita and Zedd make him grow, forcing the Alien Rangers to have to call on their Battle Borgs. But the Battle Borgs turn out not to be much of a match for the Aquitains as the other rangers are teleported by Zordon to help them; as they will try to get to Bulk. So where is Alpha during all of this....he's been very silent this entire episode! The f&*^!!! O_o  Anyway, the little rangers get to him telling him who he is and how he's their friend....since when??? Did he just bully you guys??? Oh whatever, Bulk returns to normal but then Rita and Zedd just turn him back until he attacks their Palace from Earth; forcing them to change him back. Why not just kill the literally runt?? I'm sorry the little cu.....oh I'm sorry, this is a kids show after all, pardon me! -_-

Meanwhile, Rito and Goldar are given the mission to go to the tunnels underneath the Command Center as Rita and Zedd have discovered a map that will show them to the most vulnerable place in it that will ultimately destroy it with the "destruction mechanism" that will not only destroy Zordon but the Morphin' Grid as well....yeah...sure!!! Anyway, after the Alien Rangers leave to re-hydrate back on their planet, Zordon contacts Billy and the little rangers to tell them teleport to the Command Center immediately as he has found the answer to restoring the rangers' powers and ages: The Zeo Crystal!!! :) In an excellent writing move, the writers set up the Zeo Crystal already so the audience would know about it. But the Zeo Crystal has been broken into it's 5 sub crystals and spread throughout time. The 5 rangers still under the spell of the time wrap need to journey further into the past the sub crystals have attached to their individual heritages. Poor Billy though, feeling all bad he can't go.....don't worry buddy, wait until Zeo actually begins!!! ;)

Unfortunately, the Zeo Quest preparations at the end of the episode are the only thing that made me excited and want more.  Outside of that, this was another dull and boring episode in the mini-series. Sorry, only 5 more episodes to go...I can do this??? Right?....O_O
