Awww, it's another Halloween episode and one that just meanders about until it's conclusion. You know....Zedd's plans are becoming as petty as Rita's use to get. Luring Tommy to some other dimension for some monster party....I mean come on, it's just silly. Yeah, yeah, I know, Power Rangers but come on, Zedd's introduction this season was so badass and how he immediately showed himself to be a more serious threat than Rita. So it's a shame that his plans now evolve something as stupid as ruining the rangers' chaperoning when they have to take a bunch of elementary school kids trick or treating. I mean suppose seeing the Putties turning themselves into kids and helping to trap Tommy was impressive but Zedd really hasn't scored any more victories outside finishing off the Green Ranger's powers for good this time.

Although, I did like Tommy's unmorphed fight with Goldar and the Putties. Like I said those days of mediocre Putty fights seem to be behind us as Tommy is able to fight off a squad of them with excellent speed and precision. I heard Jason David Frank would practice hard to really make those unmorphed fights more impressive and it shows. After Tommy get taken by Goldar, he gets trapped in Zedd's Haunted Forest where once again, old monsters appear to do battle with the ranger. RoboGoat is fine but did they really have to bring back Pumpkin Rapper? -_- Any reminder of him and that episode is just annoying to me....seriously, the monster can't rap, my goodness, it's just not funny or entertaining! So with Tommy trapped and fighting for his life. Kimberly and Billy begin questioning what happened to Tommy as well as the other rangers when all the kids are back and accounted for. They teleport to the Command Center and after Zordon's exposition as usual, head to the Haunted Forest to free Tommy.

Also I have to mention that there are some random underused monsters in this episode. One is a monster with keys for ears that sends Tommy to the Haunted Forest and then there's Doomstone apparently, the monster that brings the old monsters back to life like the Invenusable Flytrap and Rhinoblaster. Of course, Jason, Zack and Trini eventually show up to help the other rangers but Zedd makes one of the monsters grow. But why did it have to be Pumpkin Rapper....eeehhhh!!! -_- Anyway, the rangers summon their "Dino zords" again and the Thunderzords are summoned. Seriously the ADR people really didn't care at this point did they??? Tommy.who got his morpher back and morphs, summons his Tigerzord and initiates Warrior Mode. Both zords fight Pumpkin Rapper and least just save it a quick painful death because I hate that thing. Overall, this episode is just more filler and stalling. Didn't care much for it at all really.
