Well, things were looking bad for the rangers but what I love about this episode is that there is some beautiful continuity with show here. First is when after Tommy agrees to Lord Zedd's demand of having the rangers pilot the ancient zords, Tommy remembers the device that Billy used to get to Rita's other dimension back when he was the Green Ranger and the rangers use it to form a plan to save Kimberly to get out of their deal with Lord Zedd.  As the rangers put their plan into motion and Tommy enters Lord Zedd's far reaching dimension, the villains celebrate at the Moon Palace, when Lord Zedd gets the idea to check on the rangers as they said yes a little too fast and he doesn't trust them. When he sees they are trying to save Kimberly, he sends down a squad of Tengas to destroy them. When the Tengas arrive, the rangers immediately morph into their ninja forms, with even a scene of Aisha making the Tengas....dance.....ehhhh this show!!!

Meanwhile, as Tommy enters the other dimension and tries to figure out how to save Kimberly.  Lord Zedd arrives and for the first time, after Tommy morphs, we get a fight between a ranger and one of the main villains!!! :) Now it's not the most impressive fights but it's just cool seeing it happen for the first time, especially Lord Zedd mocking Tommy's signature fight yells!! Lol Meanwhile, back in the park, two Tengas manage to break a part of the machine as they try to escape. As Billy tries to fix it, Rita becomes impatient with Lord Zedd's confrontation with Tommy and demands Finster send down a monster to stop the rangers from fixing it. He sends down a monster who's name I don't know but he's a monster that flashes the rangers with eyes inside of it.....yup, you read that right??!! Anyway, the rangers morph and fight the monster until Rita notices they're losing and summons the ancient zords without Zedd. As the earth shakes, the zords arrive and the rangers realize Tommy must have failed to save Kimberly and have to pilot the zords. An Image of Rita shows up in the sky to tell the rangers they have no choice or Kimberly is gone!

The others ask if Billy can somehow find a way to control the zords as Billy says he try to hack into the zords' system. As Tommy uses Saba to break Lord Zedd's staff, he teleports away for the time being. Meanwhile as he continues to find a way to free Kimberly and escape, Billy continues to quickly try to gain access to the zord's system so the rangers can have control over them. As Tommy and Kimberly arrive at the park through the dimensional breach, he lays her on the ground...just as the rangers gain access to the zords. Tommy jumps into the White Ancientzord as a frustrated Lord Zedd and Rita make the coat eyes monster (Yeah, I'll just call him that) grow. The rangers use their new zords to fight off the monster, even forming it's very awesome looking megazord mode; defeating it with it's finisher.

As the episode draws to a close, Lord Zedd is mad about the rangers' latest victory but Rita reminds them they have Ninjor and the Pink power coin still. Meanwhile, at the Command Center, Kimberly thanks her friends for saving her life as Zordon tells them she will have to draw power temporarily from the other rangers til they get her power coin back. Also Zordon names the new zords "Shogun Zords" as they will be new assets in their fight against Lord Zedd and Rita. The episode ends with the second bit of great continuity as when Kimberly thinks it's the end of the Pink Ranger, Tommy reminds her of when he lost his powers and what she told him, that the others will be there for him like they will be for her, followed by a kiss on the cheek. Awwwwww, I loved these episodes!!! They moved the plot along nicely with some great action and awesome moments in between. This season is turning out to be a lot better than I remembered it!
