So now with Katherine and Tommy's plan underway, Lord Zedd and Rita aren't exactly convinced that she wants to be evil again until Lord Zedd summons a machine that will turn her pure evil. As Katherine needs to buy time for Tommy, she enters the device which traps her in it as it will make her irreversibly evil. Tommy contacts Zordon and tells him what's going on, Squatt even noticing Tommy but no one paying attention to him. Zordon tells him that Tommy must hurry and get the crystal to save Kat now.

I got to say I love the Caves of Deception and the many illusions they play on Tommy from Goldar randomly attacking him, fake versions of the rangers trying to tempt him, especially multiple versions of Kat. When Tommy finally makes his way to the crystal, an illusion of Kat tells him he can't get it because of his evil past but as Tommy struggles to get it, we see the crystal examining his past; first as the evil Green Ranger but then seeing his journey toward goodness which finally allows him to take the Zeo Crystal. Back at the Moon Palace, Kat is almost completely turned evil until Tommy arrives to use the crystal to free her. They also take the Falconzord back as they teleport away to Lord Zedd and Rita's frustration.

Meanwhile, the rangers are struggling with the Ninja Megazord against the Blue Globber monster when Tommy and Kat arrive with the Falconzord. They immediately form the Ninja Mega Falconzord and fight the Globber; the Shogun Megazord eventually joining them. With Both the Ninja Megazord and Shogun Megazord, the rangers go for the finishers and seemingly destroy the monster but Master Vile appears in his ship; demanding the Blue Globber to arise and tap into Ninjor's power. The Globber gain features of Ninjor and continues to fight the rangers. As the Megazords strike the Globber, Ninjor takes all the damage as the Globber and he are combined.

Soon the Globber damages both zords enough where the rangers fall out of their zords to the ground. With the zords heavily damaged, Vile sends them to the far reaches of the galaxy to a distant planet with the Zeo Crystal still in the Falconzord. Vile then orders the Globber to drain the rangers of their powers and he does so. The rangers decide to use their metallic armor to shield them from the Globber's drain but it doesn't work to well. When Tommy mentions the whereabouts of the Zeo Crystal, Vile tells the rangers he will now take over the universe and for the Globber to finish them off. The rangers combine what's left of their strength to use the Metallic armor to defeat the Globber for the time being as they head back to the Command Center.

With the evil forces in excitement over their victory of the rangers, Vile wants to have an End of the World party at the Juice Bar just to rub it in the rangers' faces that they lost. As the rangers are weakened and watch from the Viewing Globe, they wonder how they will win now against Vile. All in All, another great episode with stellar story progression, nice action and cool scenes in the Caves of Deception.
