Oh this episode never ceases to make me chuckle...hard!!! Something about Tommy and Kimberly both going at it is just so hilarious, especially the moment when they are morphed and Goldar is shocked; not knowing what to do as they both fight. This episode's theme is of course, competing and to a certain degree, battle between the sexes. When Tommy and Kimberly decide to both run for Student Body President, of course it's starts off as both friends supporting each other's campaign but when Rita gets an idea to make them both competitive, it turns into one of the funniest episodes of the franchise. I still crack up when Tommy insults Kimberly by telling her to go to the mall or Kimberly turning Tommy's poster to a "Don't Vote For Dummy" slogan lol. But of course, the spell is undone by some magical roses that make them friends again, only I really wish they would have keep fighting for a little bit longer. You can tell Mark Hoffmeier was having fun writing this one for sure, I know I did watching.

Rita and Zedd have their own competition when Zedd thinks Rita can't be a sufficient evil mastermind like he; which leads to her meddling and wanting to cause some competition between Tommy and Kimberly. She also has an idea to steal Saba from Tommy as she orders Goldar and a bunch of Putties to attack him in the park. I got to say they could have done more with the Thunderzord vs White Tigerzord battle. I'm glad the production decided to actually decide to do some American zord footage for once and show the zords actually making contact and hitting each other instead of some cheap, no so clever editing. Meanwhile, Alpha gives Tommy a special magnet device that he uses to take Saba by from Rita and uses it to gain control of the White Tigerzord again sending Rita back into a retreat for the time being. Lord Zedd of course can't get enough of Rita's failure as the fight about it! lol

The episode ends with both Kimberly and Tommy making a speech about who would be the best candidate for the job with Tommy making a rather touching speech of why Kimberly would be a better and more appropriate candidate for the job. Awwww! :) Of course, Bulk and Skull have to ruin the moment with their stupidity. Lastly, Kimberly turns out to be the winner of the election as Tommy congratulates her with a beautiful rose. How sweet! Overall, "Best Man For The Job" is a hilarious comedic episode from the franchise showing that the writers can make some competent humor and you can tell Amy Jo and Jason David Frank were having fun with this one. It's just so priceless to see these two at each others' necks. Bravo. writers, bravo!!!
