Ohhh this is gonna be a LONG mini-series!!! I know it's short but you know what's making drag already. First, the kid rangers....I'm sorry, but those actor can't act!!! Everytime they deliver a line, it's either emotionless or too enthusiastic. Also do we have to keep seeing them beat up the bad guys in the most pathetic way. I mean seeing Goldar, especially Rito and the Tengas getting owned by the little rangers is already getting tired and sad. These villains just successfully defeated the rangers and are about to conquer the world YET they can't handle a bunch of kids who through beach balls, towels, etc. can stop them. More kid Bulk and Skull foolery too. I guess Alpha turning off the bomb outside the Command Center was suppose to be action packed and intense??? Sigh....

So what did I like about the episode? The introduction of the Alien Rangers of course and the mythology that comes with them. Apparently, they lived by the same motto as Earth's Power Rangers by fighting evil and defending all that is good, the source of their powers also derive from Ninjor and they have their own zords called Battle Borgs they can use in battle like the rangers own zords. Great! :) But then you have to fact that they sound like their gargling water as they speak because their from a planet covered in water, they have no defining characteristics yet and come off mostly bland takes away from it. After finally arriving and making quick work of Rito, Goldar and the Tengas. The Alien Rangers soon introduce themselves, Delphine, the leader and White Alien Ranger, Cestro, the Blue Alien Ranger, Aurico the Red Alien Ranger, Tideus, the Yellow Alien Ranger and finally Corcus, the Black Alien Ranger. The little rangers then introduce themselves and the Alien Rangers just start....touching them....the F%^&??? O_o I know they're learning but grown adults touching children like that is just weird man!

Anyway, once Master Vile learns of the Alien Rangers' arrival, he move his plan along quickly by having a squad of monsters attack Angel Grove. As Billy introduces to Alien Rangers to Alpha and Zordon, they become accustomed to the Earth rangers' arsenal of zords as they will also be using them in battle. When the monsters begin attacking, the Alien Rangers finally morph and do some posing as Power Rangers do before engaging the monsters in attack. Since this is the first time we have new ranger suits (even though it's a different team and guest stars), I'll take about them. At least these rangers look like Ninja and they are overall cool looking. I like the swords on their backs as well as the helmets. Notice this is the first time we've had a female White Ranger and Male Yellow Ranger. When the monsters are forced to grow, the Alien Rangers summon their Battle Borgs as well as the Shogun Megazord to destroy them. Meanwhile, the little rangers are watching even though they said they had to go home, right??? The f&*K!!! O_O

Anyway, with Master Vile's plan ruined by the Alien Rangers, he....begins to cry and fall to the ground whining until he decides to go back to the M51 Galaxy where apparently, evil rains or wins or whatever. The Alien Rangers celebrate with the little rangers at the Command Center but can only stay a little while until Zordon figures out how to bring the timeline back to normal. Anyway, this episode, outside the Alien Rangers action, was dull, dull, dull. Like I said, the expansion of the show's mythology is nice but it's at the cost of terrible child actors, awkward new characters in the Alien Rangers and pathetic moments like the kids beating up the villains just cause! Like I said, there's only like 8 episodes left but this feels like it's gonna be a LONG mini-series!

Final Morph: D
