Season 6, Episode 8: When Push Comes to Shove

Meh!!! Another rather bad and boring episode.  I mean you have the possibility of the whole city being destroyed if a building goes over juxtaposed to Cassie losing her diary and being blackmailed into going on a date.  I mean it's Power Rangers, so this type of bizarre storytelling is warranted but my goodness, does it make for an episode seriously lacking in quality.  So Cassie is forced to go this date with Lenny when his friend George finds her diary.  Apparently, it's soooo important for her to get her diary back because there's a picture of her as the pink ranger!!! Seriously, why are the rangers so stupid with things like this??? Keep their morphers and coins in their backpacks, keeping something that obvious on them in public, morphing in plain sight, etc.  BAAAHHHH!!! Anyway, Cassie decides to ditch George so she can get to know Lenny better and he actually can talk for himself. WOW!!! -_-  Anyway, she'll go on a date with him if he promises to bring her diary back and they pinky swear, how cute!!!

Meanwhile, Professor Phenomenous is being interviewed by reporters outside of a huge skyscraper about his Plutonium Fuel, which if it were to spill over, it would destroy the entire city in an instance!!! Yet, the thing is barely protected or guarded when the Professor accidentally knocks it now, needing Bulk to stop it from hitting the floor......sigh.....Anyway, it's gonna be kept at the top of the skyscraper to be protected......when shouldn't something like that be kept underground at a highly guarded facility that should be marked highly explosive fuel!!!??? O_o  Anyway, Astronema was in the group of reporters, looking completely evil and obvious, which makes me think how the hell did no one see her??? O_o  Anyway!!! She sends her monster Elephantitan to begin knocking over the building so the whole city can be destroyed.  Not a bad plan all things considered but by goodness, considering how many times Angel Grove is attacked by monsters and building are destroyed during attacks, why the hell would the Plutonium Fuel be kept in one!!! -_-

Anyway, Cassie and Lenny end up at the top of the building when the monster begins attacking.  The other 4 rangers are contacted by Alpha about and they morph. Oh yeah, "Let's Rocket" is the new morphing call and I LOVE it more than "Sh!t into Turbo!" :P As the rangers approach the building, Astronema just attacks them with her staff knocking them out and just leaves before she's caught in the crossfire of the building going over.  I just LOVE HER!!! <3<3<3 So as the rangers realize Cassie and Lenny are inside, Andros suggest they use the newly introduced Mega Tank to go into the building to save them.  While Andros and Ashley do so, Carlos and T.J. will try to stop Elephantitan from knocking the building over.  Cassie has been trying to morph all episode to save both of them but because of their secret identity oath, she's afraid too.  But when she and Lenny end up in the same room with the Plutonium, she finally risks it; just as Mega Tank arrives to save them.  Astronema makes Elephantitan bigger with the Satell lasers and he knocks over the building as the Mega Tank barely makes it out. With Lenny passed out, Cassie finally morphs to join the others as she calls on the Astro Megazord.  A nice zord battle ensues until they destroy the monster with the Astro Megazord Saber.  The next day, Cassie gets diary back....and then forces Ashley to go on a double date with her??? WTF!!! o_O  Anyway, this episode was pretty lame.  I bored by it mostly and it's a shame it could have been better!
