Well, at least these run of a very mediocre episodes are over because honestly I don't know the point of them besides the ones I pointed out in my last review. There could have been MUCH, MUCH better ways to set Kat and Tommy's eventual romance but then again the writers don't really do much with it so what was even the point of dragging it out if the writers weren't gonna even do something with it??? Ehhh, anyway, the episode begins with Zordon testing the rangers' knowledge on global warming, the heating of the atmosphere, etc. and pretty much tells them to be on the look out that Mondo make be behind the drastic climate change. This forces Tommy, Kat and Billy to finally cut their Sky trip short, leaving Tommy to say goodbye to his failure love interest. I mean seriously, what was the point of Heather besides making Katherine look all sad and obviously jealous???

Back in Angel Grove, Zordon finally finds out with the help of Billy finally pin pointing the location of the atmospheric disturbance, contacts the rangers as they teleport to the Power Chamber. It turns out it is Mondo's latest monster, Defoliator, who has been destroying numerous trees causing a green house effect on the Earth. So the rangers immediately morph and call on their zords to destroy Defloiator. They battle him with the Zeo Megazord and seemingly destroy him but he only shrinks while his body is left for dead by the rangers. I wonder why they just assumed he was destroyed when his body was still there??? Anyway, Tommy is STILL pissed about Kimberly but then again, I would be too in that position. So Kat comes up with an idea to create a surprise dinner for Tommy at the Youth Center. She even invites Heather down to surprise Tommy as his dinner guest. Awwwww....*sticks tongue in mouth*.

So while Tommy and an ex-VR Trooper are having dinner, Katherine is whining a bit as she walks with Tanya until they run into Defoliator. After a hilarious moment of over acting by Tanya, the two morph and engage the monster but need help. Rocky and Adam arrive at Tommy and Heather's dinner to get him. Heather of course is pissed that she came all the way for Tommy to cancel on her again but he unfortunately has to go. The 5 rangers regroup and fight Defoliator until they are told by Billy to summon the Zeo Blaster to finish him off. They do and Defoliator is finally destroyed this time. The episode ends with a lackluster love resolution as Tommy and Katherine dance at the Youth Center to Ernie's "I love Happy Ending" proclamation. Ehhhhh, I'm just glad these three episodes are done. They were long, tedious and annoyingly boring episodes. The plot was pathetic and the ski resort excursion was dull. Some of the worst episodes this season bar none.
