You know, I really liked this episode in all it's goofiness and satirical nature of old B movie horror films from the Wolf Man, Dracula to Bride of Frankenstein, etc. I remember not originally liking this episode when it air but it definitely is one of the show's funniest episode in while as it explores the genre by having Adam at the focus of it all. He has dream that quickly becomes a nightmare when a stray black cat leads him to the hallways of Angel Grove High (So students can just stay as late as they want in school???) where he runs into Rita and Lord Zedd. And I have to say, I have really missed those two and their dynamic. Not that I hate the Machine Empire or anything but there is something genuinely refreshing when you see those two again. They just have so much personality and chemistry together. Sigh. :)  Any who, the two are there to tell Adam he must go on some Scavenger Hunt to retrieve the items of certain creatures like the cape of a vampire, hair of a werewolf, etc. to stop King Mondo from taking over the world. Yeah, it's a dream, so all of this silliness for one makes sense.

So Adam goes on this hilarious journey and keep running into different versions of his friends as horror movie characters. First Tommy aka Tomacula, then Rocky as Lord Henry who ends up being the Wolf Man. Then he runs into Lt. Stone whose this German man named Burgermeister. He leads him to a cave where he meets the Professor and Prince Bulkenhotep, played by Bulk and Skull of course. As Adam unwraps the Mummy and gets another piece of his scavenger hunt, he enters a laboratory where Billy is a mad scientist and Alpha is humorously his assistant. As Billy makes the finishing touches on his creation, he reveals that it's....Tanya as the zombie bride, lol. My Goodness, Nakia Burrise is such an over actor, it's hilarious!! So after they disappear, the black cat return and transforms into...Kat.....get it! Cause she use to be....oh whatever, Valencia, the Queen of Witches is about to attack Adam but he steals her 'eye" and she melts away.

Suddenly, Adam is in the Power Chamber where he meets Zordonicus aka the great Sorcerer who Adam gives the items to, but tells him he must chose one of his friends to fight in a battle against King Mondo. He accidentally chooses Tommy and we see Tommy, morphed, fighting a monster and a Quadrafighter. Tommy struggles but ultimately wins the battle. Once returned, Adam orders Zordonicus to save the world but it turns out it was all King Mondo behind everything and it was all a set up for Adam to help him destroy the world. As Mondo's forces surround Adam, he is woken up by Tanya and the others just as a black cat lands on his lap. Bulk and Skull then chase after the cat while the Bride of Hackensack comes on. While everyone is excited to watch, Adam has had enough of horror movies of course. Overall, this was a really fun and funny episode at times. You can tell the cast had fun during this episode and it shows. Nice! To think I use to dislike this episode! :)
