Meh!!! How ironic that this episode almost put me to sleep as well. It was just kind of boring. I like how it started in the middle of the story with the rangers fighting and being saved by the Gold Ranger. I honestly don't get Mondo's plan, I mean he's trying to tire out the rangers to the point where they are unable to fight but he still sends down a monster down to make the sleepy anyway with a sleeping spell so what was the point anyway???

Also this episode we get some more misdirection with Billy being the Gold Ranger. He constantly keeps disappearing and reappearing everytime the Gold Ranger appears. I mean I get what the writers were trying to do here, but it's all kind of pointless when we actually find out who the Gold Ranger is. I do like how they are keeping it a mystery though for viewers because it does make the show more interesting. Unfortunately, the episode does not.

Somnibot, as a monster of the week is defeated twice. Once by the Gold Ranger coming to save the rangers and next with the combined strength of the the Zeo Ultrazord. Meanwhile, Bulk and Skull are being idiots again on their latest case by letting a robber disguised as a locksmith take a safe they were assigned to protect. Of course, they get it back (They can do things right after all!!! :) and find out that what's in the safe, if a special egg salad recipe. Oh boy!!! -_- Anyway, "Rock-A-Bye Rangers" is an appropriately sleep inducing episode that just doesn't interest me at all. Besides the Gold Ranger bits, there's nothing much to see here unfortunately.
