Season 6, Episode 3: Save Our Ship

Continuing where the superb two part premiere left off, Andros is showing Carlos and Cassie the Simu-deck, which is sort of a training room for the rangers as T.J. and Ashley practice.  After it's over, Alpha announces to everyone they are home! While everyone is excited,  Andros is all shy and hesitant about it still. Ashley notices and tries to get him excited about it by telling about different Earthly experiences like going to the mall. Meanwhile,  Astronema is hot on the trail of the rangers when....OH FOR THE LOVE OF!!! -_- Why the hell would Dark Specter send Elgar to serve Astronema!!!??  I guess cause he helped to kill the Turbo Rangers??? Oh no, Divatox failed to do that so huh??? Anyway, as the ranges head into a new spot called the Surf Spot (Yeah, the Juice Bar and Lt. Stone are unfortunately gone for good), Andros is sooo out of place and just doesn't know who what to do.  Lol  I like his interaction with a new character, Adele ("NEVER MIND I'LL FIND!!! SOMEONE LIKE YOU!!!) as Andros isn't familiar with Earth customs....or socializing all together.

Meanwhile, Bulk and Skull, after seeing a UFO aka Astronema's Dark Fortress are looking through a newspaper when they see an ad for Professor Phenomenous, a renowned scientist who hunts aliens.  Meanwhile, as Bulk selfishly doesn't share his fries with Skull, Andros uses telekinesis to pour hot sauce into milkshake as Ashley notices.  When Skull talks about the UFO they saw last night, they realize Astronema followed them to Earth and immediately  prepare to get the rest of their supplies to fix the Astro Megaship. Bulk and Skull finally run into Professor Phenomenous, who is a bit eccentric but clearly is a genius when he wants to be. Meanwhile, as the rangers collect their supplies, Andros realize they are being followed by Quantrons and fight them off until they retreat.  With the Space Shuttle potentially in danger at NASADA, the rangers quickly grab their supplies and morph; heading to the NASADA to catch the Space Shuttle before it's destroy.

There, the Space Rangers run into another new villain...possibly one of the finest and most complex villains of the franchise in Ecliptor and while his first appearance isn't the most epic or memorable introduction, he certainly gives the rangers a hell of a fight; managing to beat the crap out of them and especially Andros with ease.  But when Andros summons his Spiral Sabor and draws Ecliptor back a little, he retreats...for the moment.  Meanwhile, on the Dark Fortress, Astronema quickly orders for the Astron Megazord Shuttle be destroyed as the rangers race into the Shuttle to make the take off.  They barely do as Astronema then makes Ecliptor grow with the new monster growing method aka the Satellite Laser.  The Space Rangers soon form the Astron Megazord and head to Earth to battle Ecliptor and it's a good fight that ends with Ecliptor seemingly destroyed but he'll be back of course.  As the rangers figure out their next move, Ashley decides to teach Andros how to play pool...if she teaches him how to move things with his mind!

Meanwhile, Astronema comes up with a plan to get rid of the rangers for good and....sigh.....
