Season 4, Episode 14: Mr. Billy's Wild Ride

I've always really liked this episode!!! The return of Billy leads to one of the rangers' roughest predicament so far when King Mondo, as we saw at the end of last episode, wants to sabotage Billy's arrival. So as the rangers anxiously await his return, King Mondo orders Klank to fire at his ship. Because of this, not to mention firing at him more than once, Billy begins to drift toward the Machine Empire's Skyline, When Tanya and Rocky arrive worried, they plan to bring Billy back by the Power Chamber's trajectory beam. But when the rangers try to use it, Mondo has them fire again to interfere with it which causes damage not only to the satellite but the Power Chamber as well. For the satellite to be repaired the rangers need to get another power cell so the trajectory beam can work again. Meanwhile, Billy's ship is now heading straight for the sun!!! Wow!!! O_O

The rangers must head to the Angel Grove warehouse to get it but with Mondo still adamant about stopping them, Zordon instructs them to morph to prepare for a fight. As Mondo spies on the rangers and sees what their up to, he sends Klank and Orbis down with a monster, Mechanizer and a squad of Cogs to battle them. As the rangers confront them and fight, the battle causes a chain reaction of explosions that forces them to exit the building immediately. When they check to see where Tommy is, they realize he is still in the building as it explodes. Worried that he didn't make it, Tanya notices him as he flips out of the building with the power cell unharmed as the rangers are happy and thankful he survived.

Back at the Power Chamber, as the rangers get ready to fire again, the satellite is still damaged outside. When Tommy teleports outside to fix it manually, Mondo sends Quadrafighters there to stop them. As they fire, Tommy loses his grip on the cliff and almost falls but manages to find his way back up. The Quadrafighters continue the fire as Tommy pushes the lever to get the satellite moving. This is all great and tense by the way!!! Finally Tommy pushes it and tells them to fire. Adam fires it and the beam takes Billy out of the sun's gravitational pull back on to Earth's orbit. As the rangers try to communicate with him to see he's alright, they hear nothing until finally Billy tells them he's ok and on his way home. Overall, this was a great episode filled with tense action, a good plot and a nice conclusion with all the rangers and Billy reunited.
