Air Date: September 26th, 1997

As time runs out to find the Phantom Ranger and stop Divatox before she uses the Power Ruby to destroy the Earth, the rangers try to track down her Space Base as well as try to find the Phantom Ranger.  Cassie and T.J. are teleported underground to the tunnels where the Phantom Ranger led them to their new zords and find him barely alive.  Meanwhile, Divatox plans to use the Power Ruby to power up the Turbo Megazord and use it to destroy the rangers once and all.  As the rangers, Alpha and Dimitria look over the Phantom Ranger in the Power Chamber, the rangers try to figure out how to get the Power Ruby back when Divatox has shields around her Space Base.  Here is when I LOVE this new team as they are very proactive and figure out that they can use a super powerful magnet to bring the Space Base to them when the shields go down for a bit.  They immediately morph and get to work on building the magnet with Storm Blaster and Lightning Cruiser used to power it up.

Meanwhile, as Divatox's forces plan to launch the Turbo Megazord, they finally lower the shields as Alpha contacts the rangers about it.  They turn on the magnet as the Space Base begins to be pulled toward Earth.  God, I love this sequence, especially Divatox's face during it. LOL.  When she orders Porto to send a monster down to stop them, he get caught in the magnet field and is sent flying out of the Space Base in a wonderful gag! Ha! Porto then summons Crosspatch as he heads down with a squad of Piranathron to stop the rangers.  The rangers fight to protect the magnet but are unable to stop Crosspatch who destroys it.  As Divatox's forces teleport away, the rangers plan to fix it.  But when Divatox finally launches the Turbo Megazord, Alpha orders the rangers to head to the city as it heads to Angel Grove.  The rangers are shocked and surprised to see the Turbo Megazord, with the Power Ruby powering the large battery pack on it and the megazord itself being controlled by Crosspatch.

The rangers immediately call on the Rescue Zords and we get a major editing fail when we see the Turbo Zords also in the zords' holding bay. Seriously, couldn't the editors have found some way around that!!? Sheesh! O_o  The rangers form the Rescue Megazord and prepare to fight the Turbo Megazord. The only thing I can say is I wish the right between both megazords was much longer but there were some awesome moments like the Spin Out finisher used against the Rescue Mgeazord and the shot of both megazords about to face off in the sunset as birds fly across the sky. Anyway, T.J. becomes fed up and decides head to the Turbo Megazord on Lightning Cruiser on his own when Alpha finds the Power Ruby in the battery pack while the other rangers distract Crosspatch and the Chromite soldiers in the Turbo Megazord.  Before the Turbo Megazord can finish them off, T.J. jumps onto the zord from Lightning Cruiser and fights off Crosspatch before heading to the top of the battery pack.  As the rangers recover by getting the Rescue Megazord back on its feet, T.J. makes to the battery pack and finds the Power Ruby but fights Crosspatch who tries to stop him. A fight scene ON A MEGAZORD??? F^&*in' AWESOME!!! :) Anyway, T.J. manages to kick Crosspatch's ass all the way down to the ground as he takes the ruby and blasts the battery pack off the zord.

With the Turbo Megazord back in their control, Divatox angrily orders to torpedoes to be fired as Crosspatch grows.  T.J. rejoins the other rangers in the Rescue Megazord to fight Crosspatch and destroy him once and for all with the artillery power finisher.  The rangers then hurry back to the Power Chamber to restore the power ruby to the Phantom Ranger as he awakes to thank the rangers for saving him.  He and Cassie exchange final words before he leaves for good....at least til next season! :) All and All, this mini-arc were some of the best episodes of the franchise.  General Havoc and the Phantom Ranger breathed new life into the show and it was great seeing the rangers being so proactive to save the day.  Awesome twists, great writing and phenomenal action, too!!! :)

Final Morph: A
