Meh! For the first episode with the new team and new status quo, this was pretty lame!!! I get it's nice we find out that Ashley is an inspiring fashion designer or is just taking fashion design class but I find it hard to believe she made that jacket in 8th grade.  Also, I agree with the other rangers that jacket was ugly!  Even by 90s standards at the time! O_o Also, I wish the first episode with the new team saw them training and getting more up to date with the Turbo Powers.  Suddenly, everyone is already the best of friends. Also, wasn't Cassie heading to Stone Canyon, not Angel Grove??? O_o  I would have liked some explanation on that but anyway.  As Ashley is feeling down about about her jacket, a  mysterious fashion designer comes out of no where to produce her jackets to the masses.  Of course, it's Divatox's latest plan and the designer was a monster in disguise as she has her Piranathron manufacture the jackets, making the irresistible to the citizens of Angel Grove.  Once people put them on, they can't help but fight and bicker among each other.  T.J., Carlos, Cassie and Justin end up at the sale and put on the jackets; making them unable to cooperate with each other while Divatox sends her forces to the museum to steal some expensive jewels.

With Ashley the only ranger not affect by the spell, Alpha encourages her to go alone.  Alpha 6 is actually pretty decent this episode and I'm sure it's all because of the new show runners, Judd Lynn and Jonathan Tzacher taking over.  Ashley morphs and we get to see the new morphing sequence for the new team and I honestly prefer it over the first team morph.  The first team's morph was just the movie morph over and over again while the new team's one fits the show MUCH better. :)  Anyway, Ashley tries to take on Elgar, Rygog and the Piranathron but she is overwhelmed and eventually retreats; at least managing to stop them from continuing to steal from the museum.  When Ashley confronts the other rangers, they just make her upset as she runs off.  Meanwhile, Divatox gets Elgar to cause a scene when the cart full of Ashley's jacket nearly hit someone...in all black...in daylight...ok??? O_o  Forced conspicuousness is FORCED!!! The Blue Senturion saves her and it turns out to be creepy designer lady again. She puts on a jacket on him and he begins wrecking havoc on Angel Grove.

Meanwhile, Alpha cheers Ashley up and she finds enough strength to trick the other rangers to take their jackets off.  They soon head after the Blue Senturion....I guess Justin told the new rangers about him??? They morph and surround him but he just uses his Robo Racer to attack them.  The rangers call on their Turbo zords and we get a brief but cool fight between the Robo Racer and Turbo Megazord.  When T.J. jumps inside of the Robo Racer's cockpit, he manages to get the jacket off and Blue Senturion returns back to normal; taking the jacket off his zord as well.  Divatox soon makes her monster grow and both megazords take her down; the Turbo Megazord finishing her off with the Spin Out. As the episode concludes, Ashley learns not to believe in anything that's too good to be true and trust her instincts as Bulk and Skull return back to normal.  Lt. Stone is happy to see them.....and I....kinda am too...:)........O_O OMG!!! Anyway, "Stitch Witchery" is a bit underwhelming for the first episode with the new team.  I like the new and REAL opening credits for the show now. The last one kind of sucked....like much of the first half did.

Final Morph: C-
