Wow, a halfway decent episode where the writers try to deliver a message about self image vs inner beauty???  Of course, it's Turbo, so the writing is great by any means.  Honestly, I wish the story was done in a way where it was Katherine dealing with a friend or student in her ballet class having issues with their weight and being a target of bullying.  Sure, we've had similar stories before but at least the message of the story was something new but all the potential is sucked away when Katherine suddenly has issues with her weight because some random girl during her ballet audition is jealous her like Tanya says.  You still got the lead role in the ballet, what's the problem???  It's so out of character for Kat.  I mean maybe if this was Season 3 of MMPR, I'd believe it.  But after all she's been through as a ranger, not to mention giving Kimberly the self confidence to do gymnastics again, this is utter bull!!!  I get it! This kind of story is important for kids and even teens who could be through the shame body shaming issues at the time to learn the importance of what really matters is on the inside...but the message gets lost in the sudden poor characterization of Kat.....moving on though....

Divatox's plan wasn't bad for once!!! Deciding to flat out sink Angel Grove was new and inventive; something we've never seen before. It made me instantly enjoy the episode more than the other so far and I was starting to reconsider her being such a terrible villain......until she decide to have the monster of the week, Numbor, plant yet another detonator! :)   *SCREAMS UNCONTROLLABLY*  Oh I give up!!! Anyway, Numbor is sent after Katherine when Divatox spies on the rangers and notices her sudden insecurities about her weight. How the hell do the rangers not notice Divatox's small periscope coming out of Katherine's water I will never understand but soon after, Numbor makes Kat as light as a feather.  Meanwhile, Adam and Justin are at the beach checking out girls when they should be studying the tide.  I actually chuckled a bit at that moment.  Anyway, with Kat literally floating around, the other 4 rangers go after Numbor to stop him from destroying Angel Grove by sinking it as well as stop the latest detonator.

While the rangers continue to lost their fight against Numbor, Kat finally realizes after Dimitria's latest "questioning" what's really important is is freed from the spell.  She thanks Dimitria and morphs to help the others.  We get an beyond silly and over the top scene of Kat kicking Numbor's ass (Jesus, Carranger was wacky af!!! O_o) before Divatox makes him grow with her torpedoes.  The rangers call on their zords and form the Turbo Megazord.  This zord fight is just weird with Numbor summoning up ducks and random ears to stop the rangers before Katherine calls on the Turbo Megazord Saber to finish him off with the Spin Out.  The episode ends with Katherine excellently finishing her play and that bitch ending up being a soldier in a dumb costume. See Kat, NOTHING to worry about. lol Ehhhh, I use to like "Weight and See" but it's a bit contrived and it's weak characterization of Katherine isn't flattering for her.  There are some original plot points and entertaining bits but the overall message of the story once again gets lost in Turbo's inconsistency....or rather consistent weakness.
