Season 4, Episode 24: Bulk Fiction

For an episode focused on Bulk, it's not as bad as you would think. At least, in this episode, like "Instrument of Destruction" did for Skull, we see the vulnerability in Bulk as he falls for the Police Chief's daughter when Lt. Stone introduces her to Bulk and Skull. We see Bulk do things to try to impress her and of course, makes a fool of himself but it's because he's in love. He asks Tanya about advice on women and overhears Rocky talk about poetry'. It takes the poetry thing overboard to the point that he gets Lt. Stone fired but I like how Bulk and Skull stand by him by leaving the Junior Police Academy as well. Yeah, they're steal idiots but at least they remain loyal to Lt/ Stone and it's because of his firing, that he is able to pursue his dream of opening up his own Detective Agency.

Meanwhile, Prince Sprocket is being all spoiled and asks his parents for a new toy to play with. The new toy turns out to be a new monster, Googleheimer the Toy Robot. Sprocket takes him out to play games and runs int Billy, who is testing out his own toy. Sprocket sends a platoon of Cogs to ambush Billy and he struggles to fight them off. Sigh....I'm seriously missing the unmorphed fights here!!! I mean Billy is a badass fighter at this point but we can't get to see it do to the restrictions on the show during that time for it's violence. Anyway, Billy manages to escape by putting a magnet on the toy car and using it to magnetize the Cogs, Sprocket and the monster. He then has Alpha teleport him back to the Power Chamber.

Meanwhile, the rangers are preparing for the Toy-A-Thon dance where they must dress from a specific decade. While Tommy, Kat and Rocky put up flyers for the dance, Adam and Tanya are playing basketball. Soon Sprocket and Googleheimer ambush the three rangers as they morph and fight the monster. When the three have trouble fighting the monster, they contact Adam and Tanya for help. They morph and aid the others but still the monster is too much for them. Billy soon sends some help for the rangers in the form of the Zeo Cannon. They use the Zeo Cannon to defeat the monster but soon Prince Sporcket whines and complains to Klank to make him grow. He does and the rangers then call on the Zeo Zords to form the Zeo Megazord. They fight the monster until Googleheimer has the Zeo Megazord stuck and trapped. Tommy summons the Red Battlezord to free the Zeo Megazord and form the Zeo Mega Battlezord to finally destroy to the monster once and for all. Overall, this was a pretty decent episode. Nothing special, it moves the story along for Stone, Bulk and Skull, but that's pretty much it. lol
