WOW!!! So I'm start this review off with a bit of a rant!!! -_- So let me get this start, writers, you had Kimberly send Tommy a Dear John letter.....Kimberly apparently has found the one in Florida....Kimberly sees Tommy as not only a friend but a BROTHER!!! Kimberly!!! WTF!!! -_- There are so many things wrong with that scene I don't even know where to begin!!!! First, Kimberly, at least not the Kimberly we've seen evolve on Mighty Morphin' would NEVER break up with Tommy this way....or at all even!!! Kimberly was also in love with Tommy, I mean the girl use to faint and cry out for him all the time during fights. Second, why not have Kimberly call Tommy rather than break up with him with a Dear John letter. How cruel and insensitive?!? O_O Third, Kimberly has NEVER seen Tommy as friend, let alone a brother!!! Her feelings for him have always been strong and passionate and yes, they were only high school sweethearts....oh wait, nooooooo....they were a couple who fought side by side in an everlasting battle against good and evil and grew to have very strong feelings toward another because of it. That first kiss??? The moments when they talked to each other about losing their powers and supporting each other??? Yeah, the writers manage to show all of that in some sappy, cringe inducing montage but WHAT THE HELL dude!!!??

"There's No Business Like Snow Business" has A LOT of problems and that whole sequence already made this episode unbearable for me before the whole forced Ski Resort trip. So because Kimberly selfishly broke his heart, Billy decides with the help of Kat to bring Tommy up to the snowy mountains for some skiing and snow boarding to get his mind off it. We get these tedious and overlong sequences of Katherine, Tommy and Billy doing either both and it's not not interesting or exciting to say the least. The writers try to make it more interesting by having guest star Sarah Brown play Heather Thompson, some ski celebrity who is inviting people to come up to the mountains and see when Tommy literally bumps into her. Heather tries to get them to go to the Widow Maker and while Billy and Tommy are reluctant; she gets them to go with her anyway.

Meanwhile, Mondo, Machina and Sprocket want to capitalize on Tommy's broken heart by sending RoboCupid down to Earth to make the people of Angel Grove fall in love with machines. Yes....I'm serious.... We even get a hilarious moment when Robocupid accidentally puts a love spell on herself and makes her fall for Klank......hahahahah.....not!!! -_- Of course, Tanya and the other rangers get suspicious when they see that Ernie and everyone at the Youth Center is crushing on random objects. Meanwhile, Mondo and Machina plan to keep the other rangers busy at the resort by sending some Cogs to send the rangers falling to their deaths on the Widowmaker. Katherine noticing them, chases them down the hill until she sees them take off with the danger signs. Kat morphs and she struggles to fight off the Cogs until the disappear. As Tommy, Billy and Heather make their way down; they run into Katherine who tries to stop them. Heather skateboards over the cliff as the others run over to see if she's ok but can't see what happened to her.  To Be Continued.....Overall, Part 1 was a major snorefest and the whole break up letter with Kimberly is pretty infuriating. I mean seriously, did the writers have to break them up this way just to have Tommy end up with....you'll find out!!! -_-

Final Morph: D
