Oh I remember this episode...it was SOOOO intense for me as a kid and probably contributed to my brief fear of heights!!! But you know what I don't like??? Bulk. and. Skull. shoved into these subplots for NO. REASON!!! It's one thing to be comic relief but these two have become beyond annoying and we aren't even at the halfway point of the season yet! URGHH!!! Why the hell would these two want to fly in a plane with Kimberly anyone!!? Isn't she one of the dorks they fail to pick on a daily basis!?! O_o Now there all eager to hang out with her and her uncle on a plan. Also, I'm noticing Rita's plan are becoming a little predictable by always slightly inconveniencing one ranger and trying to kill the others. Sure, you can say she was trying to kill Kimberly when she couldn't morph and was WAAAAYYY up in the sky....then again....that's actually a pretty good plan! lol  Gotta love Kimberly snapping at Bulk and Skull when her uncle passes out! HA! maybe the most genuine "acting" moment of Amy Jo Johnson's life as she really seemed annoyed and panicky!!

Snizzard, sigh, is the monster of the week this episode and it's cool seeing as his design is fun. Though, funny how Kimberly was essential in defeating him....is that why Rita wanted her out of the way??? Could have used some explanation why her bow and arrows were the only way to defeat him but anyway. I do like the tension of the episode where Kimberly is forced to land the plane on her own.  I remember that freaking me out as a kid. Like I said, brief fear of heights because of this episode.  Amy Jo actually did a decent job of selling the fear and anguish of the situation. Plus, they made her all sweaty.  Gotta love Alpha and Zordon supporting her by telling her and the other rangers how "smart" she is and "she can do anything she put her mind too".  Nice bits of character development from one of the original rangers who will end up getting the second most development before they leave the series.

The end fight with Snizzard is cool, Kimberly is shown to be a badass and I think this is the first episode where "It's morphin' time!" finally felt like a genuine morph call! :) Oh, this is also the episode where we are introduced to Zack's crush aka Angela aka B!tch get over yourself! *Eye roll* I get her not being interested in Zack but the way she blows him off is kind of harsh. I get it, you're not interested but no need to be a stuck up prude about it. Ehhhh!! Either way, she'll unfortunately become a recurring character this season. Oh boy, more rejection for Zack!!! -_-

Anyway, this was a good episode. I like tension of the situation and the new location spot with Angel Grove airport. The little flashback to the Pilot that Kimberly has is also cute as we see that the rangers have come a long way since the first time they morphed! :)
