I don't know why...but I really like this episode!!! I don't know it's because Tommy's exit gives the show now a refreshing new dynamic or if the child actors present in this episode don't completely suck or if seeing Jason wielding both her Power Sword and the Dragon dagger at the same time is badass.....I think it might be ALL of thee above actually!! Lol Also, while the rangers are pretty fuckin' dense this episode (How many times did Zordon tell them they had to destroy Cadiatron from inside to defeat the monster???! -_-) , it's still a ridiculously fun episode!!

Zack is training some students in karate (Ummm, what happened to Hip Hop Kiddo?? O_o) before he tells one of them, Cameron, to show the class some moves with him for the Junior Martial Arts competition. He messes up one move and Zack picks him up giving him some wisdom about martial arts. Then Bulk and Skull come in with some little twerp who is gonna compete at well and shows off his moves. Wow, I'm shacking in my little boots!! O_o Meanwhile, Rita is planning to release her Hatchasaurus onto the world....muhahahaha!!! Anyway, next day at the tournament Zack has to leave Cameron when the rangers are contacted by Zordon.

Back at the Command Center, Zordon tells them about Hatchasaurus and Cadiatron by telling them they have to destroy him from the inside. So the rangers morph into action and call their zords. What I love is that the rangers immediately call Dragonzord to help by having Jason call it with the Dragon Dagger. But then after they destroy Hatchasaurus and just celebrate; FORGETTING WHAT ZORDON JUST TOLD THEM ABOUT HOW TO KILL THE MONSTER!!! -_- Rita is all pissed but know the monster will come back to life because the rangers are such idiots and can't follow specific directions for some reason! -_- Zordon contacts the rangers and has them immediately teleported back to the Commander Center; pretty much repeating and showing the rangers that they have to defeat Cadiatron, the robot inside, to defeat the monster. Meanwhile, Rita puts a spell on the Dragonzord so it can't help the rangers.

The rangers morph back into action and face Hatchasaurus again to which they immediately call their zords again. When they form the megazord and fight Hatchasaurus, Jason has trouble calling the Dragonzord do to Rita's spell. The rangers continue to hold strong until Dragonzord finall arrives...and is pretty useless.  They manage to destroy Hatchasaurus again with the Power Sword.....BUT it once again brings itself back together. Sigh!!! *Headdesk* Jason FINALLY remembers what Zordon said about Cadiatron and jumps inside to fight it. That....THIS  is when the episode immensely improves. Seeing Jason inside a monster; fighting another monster, while other rangers fight Hatchasaurus on the outside is just....AWESOME!!! Then he summons the Dragon shield and uses the Dragon dragger to call on Dragonzord again. It FINALLY breaks free of Rita's spell and helps free Jason from the inside. As he falls to the ground, Cadiatron follows and they both fight.  Seeing Jason use the full power of his sword and the Dragon Dagger is. freakin'. EPIC!!! Wth Cadiatron destroyed by Jason's badassery, he rejoins to rangers to call on the Ultrazord and finish Hatchasaurus! With the monster actually destroyed for good this time, the rangers celebrate.

Back at the Youth Center, Zack is excited that Cameron made it to the last round but is worried he's made at him for bailing on him as the other rangers tell him, he'll be fine. Zack and Cameron talk with Cameron being cool about it.  Cameron faces off with Bulk and Skull's pupil. It's a decent fight, which Cameron ultimately wins with Zack's coaching. After, the two student bow and shake on it. Bulk is pissed and gets kicked in the shins by the kid; who wants a new coach (Jesus kid, NOW you realize that??? What made you want to get coach by those idiots in the first place!!?? -_-)

Anyway, this episode, despite the rangers near infuriating incompetence, was awesome just for being different. Like I said, with Tommy out of the picture and Jason wielding his powers, it adds a new dynamic to the show. Sure, it's still Tommy's powers saving the day but at least we're seeing the rangers continuing the fight in new ways!!!

Final Morph: A-
