Season 6, Episode 38: Mission To Secret City

Well, besides the fact that episode introduces the long history of the Red Ranger's personal battle armor aka the Battlizer is actually quite the last minute plot point to the episode.  What we have here is a very well done episode that utilizes all 5 rangers so well when Astronema's latest monster, Vacsacker, begins capturing large swarms of civilians in Angel Grove and sending them to her Secret City to be converted into her new army.  I like how when Andros and Carlos get trapped they immediately try to fight their way out and morph but with a nearby satellite in place causing a forcefield over the city, they can't morph unfortunately.  Oh and if I HAVE to mention it, the spawn of Satan is with them, Silvy, who apparently Carlos was babysitting or something. I mean why did Silvy have to come along.....oh yeah, so she can find out the other rangers' identities, especially Andros' so she could push the 3rd option on his battlizer. I mean after Andros tells Carlos that #3 could kill him, the little bitch pushes it anyway when she overhears what they are talking about.  Great job Silvy, you still a little sociopath in training.

Anyway, the other 3 rangers are busy trying to stop Vacsacker when they discover the location of the Secret City and where to find the Satellite.  They get themselves captured, but not before Alpha 6 arms them with blasters, detonators and trackers to make sure they don't go in there unarmed since they can't morph once inside the city.  Man, the sequence of T.J., Cassie and Ashley going to work on shutting down the Secret City is so awesome as it once again makes this team of rangers seem so smart, competent and effortlessly great at working together to save the day.  They blasts Quantrons left and right, make sure they send the track to find the satellite and fight their way to the satellite to make sure it's destroyed so they can morph.  Of course, things don't all go as planned since T.J. and Cassie are left hanging off a ledge while Carlos and Andros struggle to fight Vacsacker.

Once again, the devil child presses the 3rd button on Andros' battlizer and he screams out in excruciating pain as he transforms into an armor Power Ranger with wings, abs and very defined buttocks!!! LOL  The first battlizer of the show, it looks ridiculous and over the top but then again there will be uglier and far worse looking battlizers throughout the show so this is actually pretty tame.  The battlizer mode is badass regardless with Andros being able to shot rockets, energize his Spiral Saber with red lightning and use a powerful magnet to capture an incoming group of Quantrons' weapons. NICE!!! The other rangers soon regroup and are amazed by Andros' new body armor.  They morph and fight Vacsacker until Andros flies into the air and destroys him with his rockets.  Astronema makes him grow and the rangers call on their zords to form the Mega Voyager.  After destroying Vacsacker, the rangers head to city's large tower to shut it down but Astronema order Ecliptor to move the city from it's location as it vanishes before the rangers' eyes.  With the city gone, the rangers must find the city before everyone in the city is lost!!! All and All, this was a wonderful episode despite the presence of the child that should have been aborted! :) Great plot and amazing use of all 5 rangers. Also, the Psycho Rangers are off floating around as ghosts....watching and waiting to return to destroy the rangers....DAAAMMMNNN, great cliffhanger!!! :)
