Season 6, Episode 18: True Blue To The Rescue

I'm SOOO glad this episode!!!! Not only do we get a semi-Turbo/In Space team up but the writers are given a chance to resolve some left over storylines from last season.  In this case, we find out what happened to Lightning Cruiser and Storm Blaster after they were captured by Divatox.  Turns out they were enslaved and forced to move cargo across a desert planet.  Luckily, the Piranathron are still not too bright as Lightning Cruiser manages to outsmart them by freeing himself and Storm Blaster.  But as Storm Blaster makes his escape, Lightning Cruiser is recaptured.  What comes next is a hilarious bit between Divatox and Astronema as Astronema claims she will take Storm Blaster herself to Divatox's irritation. As the velocifighters head after Storm Blaster, Alpha gets a visual off it on the Megaship as everyone except for Andros is excited that he escaped. Lol I love how clueless Andros is here as the Space Rangers head out to help him. As the Quantrons have Storm Blaster countered in an abandoned warehouse, the rangers arrive to protect him.  Soon Astronema, Ecliptor and more Quantrons arrive to counter them as well as Astronema's latest monster, Lionizer.  As a fight breaks out, .T.J. orders Storm Blaster to get away while they are captured by Astronema's forces.

Next, we see good old Justin looking toward the sky; reminiscing about his past adventures with his friends and being a ranger when his dad tells him to come in for bed.  Justin's father hasn't changed it seems since he's sill preoccupied with work to spend time with him.  As Justin sleeps, Storm Blaster arrives at his house; too Justin's shock and excitement.  They head back to the warehouse where the rangers are being held as Justin sneaks close by to see them.  Soon Quantrons arrive to stop him but old Justin owns them!!! That's my boy!!! On that O.G., veteran ranger sh!t!!! ;)  Anyway, as Justin runs into Storm Blaster, they race into the factory....while Storm Blaster reveals he has an extra morpher for Justin!!! How??? O_o  Don't ask such things!!! Justin's back as the Blue Turbo Ranger and kicks some more ass; saving the Space Rangers in the process.  Gotta love this little team up especially the interaction between Justin and T.J., lol.  "Who are you? I was blue!" was priceless!!! After the rangers defeat Lionizer with their weapons, Astronema makes him grow.  Justin of course steps back while the Space Rangers call on Mega V1 as well as the rest of the Mega Vehicles to form the Mega Voyager. As the rangers battle Lionizer, Justin's excitement throughout the whole thing is so cute and soooo in character. After defeating Lionizer, the rangers return and realize Lighning Cruiser must still be captured.

Storm Blaster leads them to the planet where he is captured while the Space Rangers ride on their Galaxy Gliders next to Justin.  On the desert planet, the rangers arrive to fight the Piranathron in an awesome rescue fight.  Awww, it so great to see the second Turbo team reunite and Justin getting to meet Andros for the first time.  It's a sweet scene; especially when Justin tells them if they ever need him again, he'll be there. :)  As Justin makes his way home, Justin's dad, after seeing a father and son about to go fishing, decides to stop taking Justin for granted and spend the day with him fishing. Awwww, this episode was so great, full of so many story resolutions from Lightning Cruiser and Storm Blaster to Justin's daddy issues. Wow, great writing as well as a nice little team up!!! :)
