We get a character centered episode as well as the continuing masterful villainy that is Darkonda.  It's crazy how in just two episodes he has come sooooo very close to defeating the rangers.  Here he once again manages to get in Astronema's good graces by spying the rangers and finding out they have built an interstellar scanner on a nearby planet to help them search for Zordon.  I'm soooo glad how this storyline has been handled so far, continuously brought up in back to back episodes; showing the rangers being very productive in their search for the founding mentor of the Power Rangers.  Of course, when Darkonda finds out what they are up to, he gets Astronema to have him lead the charge with Ecliptor to destroy it.  Man, the rangers really should have kept a security camera, barrier or some kind of force field to prevent enemies from finding it but anyway!!! When the rangers morph and arrive down at the planet, they prepare to attack with Ecliptor planning to tell Andros something when Darkonda attacks him.  He then fuses himself with Ecliptor becoming an even sinister, powerful and uglier creature as Andros hilarious mentions called Darkliptor.  He then encases three of the rangers in a block of ice and gives T.J.  a brutal headshot with his two swords! Ouch!!!

After Andros takes off back to the Megaship with T.J., Andros discovers that T.J. has lost his memory. Meanwhile, Astronema is horrified by the new fusion of Darkliptor as he lies and tells them that Ecliptor attacked him and that's why he is the way he is.  Man, Darkonda is a piece of work man and I LOVE IT!!! After failing to prove to him he is the Blue Space Ranger, Andros morphs and heads back to the planet to face Darkliptor, who left them an ultimatum as either they face him or he'll destroy the frozen rangers! While Andros faces off with Darkliptor, T.J. roams around the Megaship trying to remember who he is and finds a picture of the 5 of them together.  He then some how remembers to teleport and teleports to the planet where Andros and Darkliptor are fighting.  He tries to morph and becomes the Blue Ranger but still can't remember who he is as Darkliptor attacks.  During the attack, Andros comes in to save T.J. and it helps him to slowly but surely remember who he is.

The two then combine forces against Darkliptor and damage him enough where both Darkonda and Ecliptor separate from each other again.  As the 3 rangers are freed and rejoin T.J. and Andros, Astronema makes Ecliptor and Darkonda grow as Darkonda forces them to rejoin again.  Andros and T.J. call on both megazords as they combine to form the Astro Delta Megazord.  We get an awesome zord fight between Darkliptor and the Astron Delta Megazord until Darkliptor is defeat and both Darkonda and Ecliptor retreat.  I love the teleport effect of Darkonda by the way! Anyway, as Darkonda gloats to Ecliptor, Astronema believes that Ecliptor attacked Darkonda and makes him Ecliptor's equal!!! HA!!! Man, this episode was another awesome entry in this episode.  It didn't do much to advance the plot but it continues to show Darkonda is truly remarkable villain and while T.J. didn't get much character development, it was great seeing him rediscover his ranger calling. Overall, superb and ridiculously entertaining!
