Well, Trakeena wastes no time in getting revenge on Leo for destroying her father as well as Deviot begins his machinations for seizing power from her.  I love how the in-fighting with the villains this season, especially since Trakeena doesn't know she's being played by her own first general.  After putting the cocoon away for safe keeping to Deviot's frustration, Villamax alerts Trakeena to the whereabouts of the rangers or rather Leo's specifically as she prepares to destroy him herself for killing her father.  I like how we see Leo and Kai training with their Quasar Sabers in the woods before they get attacked by Villamax who demands that Leo comes with him.  What's weird though is when Leo and Kai morph they say "Power Up!" instead of "Go Galactic!" Huhhh??? O_o  Anyway, after a brutal fight where Villamax owns both rangers, Deviot soon captures Kai and reveals that the rest of the rangers, including the Magna Defender have been captured as well.  Villamax says he will let them go is Leo surrenders.  Leo, of course does so by demorphing and throwing down his morpher and Quasar Saber.  After Leo is taken away by some Sting Wingers, Villamax actually does what he said he would do and releases the rangers, to Deviot's shock!  I really like Villamax and how he's honorable despite being evil; doing what's best for Trakeena instead of being so cold and deceptive like Deviot. Nice!

With Leo held captive by the villains, Deviot tortures him a little before Villamax stops him.  Trakeena soon arrives to destroy Leo herself by throwing him in a fire pit.  But before that happens, Leo forms a plan to escape as he falls into the pit with a Sting Winger.  As the villains believe he's destroyed, Leo flies out of the pit on the Sting Winger and flies toward Deviot carrying him outside the Scorpion Stinger as Trakeena orders Villamax to go after them.  As Leo recovers outside,  he escapes with his morpher and saber as Deviot gleefully talks about everything going according to plan.  As Villamax and some Sting Wingers arrive, Deviot points them in the wrong direction but leads Trakeena soon after in the right direction.  Apparently, she had this force field arena set up to fight Leo....what....than why did she throw Leo in a fiery pit then??? O_o  Confusion! Plot hole!! -_-

Anyway, the fight between Trakeena and Leo is awesome though with Trakeena able to easily out fight him.  But Deviot has been plotting and earlier he hired two monsters, Kubak and Teksa, to destroy Trakeena for him to make it look like the Red Ranger did it! Ha, Deviot is such an awesome sleazy bastard!! I LOVE it!!! As he destroys the force field, the two monsters attack Trakeena and manage to beat her up a little but Trakeena is too much of a badass now for that and manages to destroy Teksa.  When she questions who put him up to this, Deviot cleverly destroys Kubak to make it look like he was saving Trakeena to save his own ass! HA!!! Deviot went to the Darkonda school of covering your own ass apparently! Anyway, as Trakeena is pissed that he destroyed him, they eventually go after Leo and corner him.  But the rest of the rangers arrive in time to help him.  After blasting the rangers away, Kubak randomly returns bigger than ever as the rangers must summon their zords to stop him.  Its a quick zord battle and after, Trakeena returns to threaten the rangers that she'll be back to destroy them some day!

The episode ends with Villamax playing nice with Deviot by giving him a gift but Deviot just bends the knife and throws it away; calling Villamax useless as Kegler watches from a hiding spot. lol All and All, despite some plot holes, "An Evil Game" is a very fun episode where we get bits of more characterization from the villains.  Deviot is traitorous snake, Villamax is an honorable fool and Trakeena has really come a long way as a fighter. Not bad once again!!! :)
