Season 6, Episode 36: The Enemy Within

Well, here we have the final showdown between the Space Rangers and the last 3 Psychos and thank god it didn't disappoint.  After Dark Specter once again questions Astronema about the traitor almost depleting his entire power, the rangers track their Mega Vehicles to a distant planet but before they can go get them, Zhane is smart to stop them as the Psychos are clearly leading them to a trap.  So the rangers come up with a plan that involves Zhane to keep the Psychos busy by summoning the Mega Winger and Delta Megazord while the rangers head underground in the Mega Tank (So glad that thing is still being used! :) to go after their zords.  Meanwhile, the Psychos are two steps ahead when the rangers arrive as Psycho Yellow watches as the rangers enter their Mega Vehicles and form the Mega Voyager again.  As the three megazords head into battle, the control suddenly stop.  As the rangers try to regain control of the Mega Voyager, Psycho Yellow begins speaking through the megazord as she has infected it with a virus.  With the Mega Voyager now in control of the Psychos, Psycho Yellow begins attacking both the Delta Megazord and Mega Winger.

Soon Psycho Red and Black join in their monster forms by trapping the two megazords in chains against an enormous cliff.  As Psycho Red approaches the Mega Voyager, he is suddenly summoned by Ecliptor as he tries to stop Psycho Red from continuing his plan to destroy the rangers without Astronema's orders.  We get a great but brief fight between them before Psycho Red heads back to continue the fight against the rangers.  I love how he pretty much gets so mad that snaps and just teleports Andros out of the megazord to the ground. What follows it a brutal yet beautiful fight between them near a waterfalls. Such a great visual!!! :) As Andros gets the upper hand on Psycho Red, the rangers are aided by the arrival of Alpha in the Astro Megazord. As Andros goes into the megazord, he uses the Astro Megazord Saber to try to expel Psycho Yellow out of it.  Psycho Red grows into his monster form and loses it; even when Psycho Black tries to stop him.  He attacks the Astro Megazord to try to destroy Andros and accidentally expels Psycho Yellow when he attacks the Mega Voyager.  Soon the rest of the rangers take control of the Mega Voyager again while Andros frees Zhane and the Delta Megazord with the Astro Megazord.

What follows is an awesome battle royal of all 4 megazords against the 3 Psycho rangers and it's EPIC!!! Probably the biggest zord battle we've ever gotten on this show against a group of monsters.  As the Psychos combine forces to destroy all the zords, the rangers realize they're too powerful to be stopped. They finally get the idea to use all the energy the Psychos are sending at them to send it right back to them.  They do so barely holding on as they destroy the three Psycho all together!!! I love how the rangers take a moment to make sure they're gone before celebrating and they should have waited a bit longer as we'll see! lol ;) Anyway, after Dark Specter thanks Astronema for destroying the Psycho Rangers for him after finding out they were draining his powers, Astronema is pissed that her plan almost work and even zaps Elgar for opening his mouth when he questions her loyalty HA!!! Anyway, with all the Psycho Rangers destroyed, the rangers can now continue their search for Zordon....but not before Zhane is major jerk and pretends to be Psycho Red! -_- Jesus dude, no wonder Andros just flips him for that crap.  Anyway, another stellar episode in the saga and of course, the Psychos aren't done yet! ;)
