Season 6, Episode 17: The Rangers' Mega Voyage

Continuing right where the first part of this unofficial two parter left off, the rangers are getting owned by Darkonda and monster that mutated from him when it throws the megazord across the streets of Angel Grove. STILL such an intense and gripping cliffhanger.  As the rangers try to get the megazord up (there are some serious editing mistakes here, like the Astro Delta Megazord suddenly turning into the Astro Megazord out of no where! HUH??? o_O)  Anyway, as the rangers continue to struggle to hang on, Alpha discovers that the Key Cards lead to a secret weapon on one of Jupiter's moon.  With that information, the rangers rush into the Delta Megaship and disengage from the Astro Megazord.  While Alpha and D.E.C.A. stay behind to fend off Darkonda and his monster, the rangers make their way to Jupiter's moon to find the weapon.

Unfortunately, Astronema has Darkonda send the monster after the rangers but luckily, Andros orders to Megaship to fire its exhausts and the monster is left to float around in space for the moment.... As the rangers make their way to Jupiter's moon, Astronema has captured the player who was the owner of the Key Cards and forces him into an interrogation as he reveals how the Red Ranger got his hands on the cards.  I LOVE how Astronema just gets ready for battle with her forces.  She's never afraid to face the rangers alongside her forces and it's plain AWESOME!!! :)  Meanwhile, the rangers arrive at the base on Jupiter's moon and head out to find where the weapon is.  But during their search, Astronema arrives with Ecliptor and an army of Quantrons to demand they give back the Key Cards or else she'll destroy them.  The Space Rangers of course tell her no and she orders her men to attack.. During the fight, Andros gets to a control panel to open the gate to the next area of the base.  When the rangers try to escape through it, Astronema knocks Cassie down with her boomerang weapon and Cassie barely makes it through the gate to join the others.  After Ashley almost falls down of a railing. the rangers soon discover 5 new zords aka the Mega Vehicles which Zordon left in case of an emergency..... Seriously, how long have those things been there in that case??? Why weren't they used when Eltar was attacked!!!?? O_o

Anyway, as the rangers launched their new zords and head back to Earth, Astronema orders Ecliptor to have the monster attack the rangers again.  This leads to brief but awesome space battle on Jupiter's moon where the rangers use their new zords to destroy the monster.  As Alpha barely hangs on inside the Astro Megazord, the rangers form the Mega Voyager and it's AWEESSSOMMME!!! Like many things this season.  As Darkonda prepares to destroy the Alpha inside the Astro Megazord, the Mega Voyager arrives to kick Darkonda's ass!!! But that's not it for old Konda yet!! ;) With the Astron Megaship heavily damaged, the rangers begin to repair it just as Astronema plans her next move knowing the rangers are vulnerable right now. Overall, this was another phenomenal episode with an excellent conclusion to once again, this incredible yet still unofficial two parter!!! :)
