Season 19, Episode 6: The Bullzord

"The Bullzord"
Episode 6
Air Date: March 24th, 2012

Yay!!! The rangers get an awesome looking zord on top of a powerful new Shogun mode.......yeah, that's about it in terms of what I liked about the episode because BOY, is the rest of it another chore to sit through that seemingly takes forever! O_O  I honestly, believe wholehearted that Jonathan Tzachor has a specific writing style he forces on this show that is utterly deplorable to kids and adults who are happening to watch this show.  Sure, Power Rangers is for kids, we all know that but the merciless pandering to children this era of the show does is damn near inhuman. O_o  The dialogue feels like its written in matter 15 minutes or less with characters constantly delivering the obvious in terms of lines when we know since we are watching what exactly is happening! The whole story with Cody and the Bullzord just smelled of an ill conceived story as soon as Serrator makes Cody a target and talks about him having all this power as well as his family being the ancient guardians of the Bullzord.  For one, Cody is a horrible character with a child actor that clearly doesn't know how to portray a character that is already poorly written. Not to mention, his father is an idiot for letting him out of his sight to cause such chaos and destruction like this.  This child is set out to prove himself by letting this ancient zord free when he clearly know the immense danger of letting something like that loose...but he does so anyway, leaving the rangers to have to clean up his mess as well as saving him when he becomes trapped inside the zord.

Ewwwww, this episode is just so tedious and dumb, with the rangers out to believe in Cody while trying to stop the relentless rampage of the an out of control ancient zord.  Like I said, the dialogue is some insipid, not to mention repetitive as Cody continues to repeat the things we are seeing over and over again; trying so hard to stop the zord but can't.  Was there even a moment where Cody admitted he was wrong outside of thanking the rangers for saving him?? O_o  Yes, Cody is the only one apparently that can stop this thing so Jayden tries to encourage him while saving him from Crustor, the latest Nighlok out on a mission for Serrator.  Oh and apparently, there is another disc that needed to be used to tame the Bullzord that Cody's father gives to Jayden and suddenly Cody is able to do it. .......Ummmmm whatever! Now Jayden has access to the Shogun mode because apparently Super Samurai AND Shark mode weren't enough damn power ups for this team!!!! -_-

Anyway, now with the Bullzord under the rangers' control, Jayden is able to transform the bullzord into the Bull Megazord.  Like I said, it looks awesome in design and I like the visual of its finishing move but beside that this is a sack of crap that is just as disposable as last season. I just can't anymore but here I am continuing to go through this absurd version of a franchise that deserves soooo much better than this and has been soooo miuch better than this! Ewwwww! -_-

Final Morph: F
