Season 19, Episode 14: A Crack In The World

"A Crack In the World"
Episode 14
Air Date: October 13th, 2014

Well, I should give this episode some merit on how major it is in terms of plot progression.  It seems Serrator isn't a complete disappointment as a villain as he takes full advantage of Master Xandred's recuperating and goes forward with his own major plan of flooding the Earth as well as ruling the Netherworld.  So it seems that the rangers, mostly Kevin, figures out that Serrator's recent deception and betrayal of Xandred is all apart of some kind of bigger plan that seems to create pin points that make up a line in the city.  At least the rangers are thinking clearly for once and being smart, even if the dialogue continues to be head scratching, not to mention obvious.  I swear every time Emily takes it sounds like a 6 year old stating the obvious just to be annoying! My god! Child are not THAT dumb! In fact, children aren't dumb at all! BAH!!! Meanwhile, Dayu and Dekker are off.....doing their usual schtick of Dayu's "Deker doesn't remember me! I must reach him" while Dekker just can't stop obsessing over his damn sword.  Romassa, Romassa, Romassa, etc.  Hey hears a drinking game for us adult fans.....take a shot of tequila everytime Dekker says it!!! 3 shots in and the alcohol poisoning begins!!! 0_0  Seriously!

Also, there is some random attack from a Nighlok aka Pestilox (Not a bad name all things considered!) who is sending swarms of bees that go inside people and make their stomachs hurt??? Yeah, it's all apart of Serrator's final plan to create a straight split in the city so that rip between the human world and the Netherworld will be unleashed.  The rangers, of course, go after Pestilox with Jayden in Super Samurai mode with Mia and Emily while the other 3 rangers go after Serrator who is being confronted by Dekker.  Gotta love how he treats the rangers like a nuance with how powerful he is able to talk to Dekker and neutralize them at the same time.  See Serrator has so much potential but so far, he is not the awesome villain I remember him being the first time I watched this season.  Yes, he's confronted the rangers waaayyyy more than Xandred ever has and ever will, shown himself to be powerful but even here when he proves to be a mastermind behind other Nighlok attacks that puts this series of events in motion, there still a lot more to be desired. :(  Anyway, Jayden defeats Pestilox; leading to yet another zord fight.  The rangers summon the Claw Armor Megazord as well as the Battle Wing to help them fight against Pestilox, some giant Moogers as well as those Spitfang creatures.  After using the Samurai Artillery to destroy Pestilox, all 6 rangers regroup to where Dekker and Serrator are as Serrator reveals to him his the final piece of his plan; that he only needs to strike that very spot to unleash hell on Earth.

It's apparently the reason he chose Dekker in the first place 200 years ago and cursed him.  Only a being of the human world and Netherworld but doesn't belong to both can do it.  But apparently it doesn't need to be done as the areas of previous attacks erupt with a powerful blasts, including the one where the rangers are with Dekker and Serrator.  The line has split as the city begins to crumble and Serrator flies over the city as the buildings begin to get destroyed and chaos runs through the streets.  The rangers have demorphed and have been knocked out by the blast as well as Dekker as Serrator begins his rule as the Earth is being over taken by the crack that has finally come.  A Crack in the World is pretty satisfying and eventful but it's little too late in trying to make the show incredibly interesting as it's only the Sentai being used a a direct copy and paste job.  Oh well.....there have been MUCH worse episodes!
