WOW! BRAVO! What an awesome finale for the season that finally got things back on the right track for the show after the Neo Saban Era proved for the first four seasons that the franchise were in the worst hands possible in terms of writing.  One More Energem manages to pick up from where the penultimate episode of Season 1 left off and continuing the story by delivering us one hell of a climatic mid-point during the Dino Charge run.  I love how everyone thing once again comes together so well from Sledge's final plans to destroy the rangers with the purple energem in his possession to the rangers forming a plan to get the purple energem back while also having some great surprises and suspenseful moments that feel so earned cause we have come to love these characters so much.  I like the idea of the GetBot, kinda ridiculous in execution but the fact it was able to get Tyler's red energem back while also making for a hilarious moment when things seem like they may become too dire is just such great writing!  Not convenient at all and a well done plot twist that makes the introduction of the bot so rewarding. lol  Like I said, last episode, the stakes have been set to be higher than ever before and thankfully, One More Energem follows through with that almost perfectly.

Sledge also takes immediate intuitive by going after the rangers and using the power of the purple energem to capture the rest of the rangers' energems.  It was definitely an intense moment and one that even forces Keeper out of....standing around by actively defending the rangers when Sledge captures them and fighting him off.  Yeah dude, where was this when you seemed to leave them to die in A Fool's Hour??!! O_o HA! Unfortunately, with Sledge having the purple energem, he easily overpowers Keeper and captures him.  I love how Kendall, who was there to put the GetBot takes immediate action by taking out a Vivix and stealing a pod to go save Keeper.  Then Tyler comes out of nowhere like a boss with Keeper's staff to hold off Sledge until Ivan arrives with the Ptera Zord so they can escape.  Making sure they don't get away, Sledge orders Wrench to send down his most powerful monster aka Greenzilla, which proves to be just that despite the name. lol O_o  I love it how Tyler even without his energem takes charge of the team as Red Ranger and orders the team to do what they need to do to save the day while he and Shelby go after Keeper.  Once again, showing that a true ranger, even hero is having the spirit to keep fighting despite having no powers.  Unlike like say, a group of teenagers that will "NEVER SURRENDER!" and "HUMANITY WILL NEVER GIVE UP!" .........Ewwww those Megaforce wounds will NEVER HEAL! *Agony flashbacks*

Anyway, back on Sledge's ship, it's really awesome seeing Kendall to the rescue and showing he ingenuity in working her way around the villains to get the purple energem back as well as helping Shelby and Tyler when they sneak on to Sledge's ship.  Too bad she is discovered; leading to her and Keeper being prepared to be eviscerated by Sledge.  Luckily, Kendall manages to outsmart the villains and escape with Keeper.....leading to another unforeseen twist as the purple energem bonds with Kendall to make her the purple ranger.  It's a pretty epic moment....hell, it's an epic moment, showing Kendall to be a bada$$ as well as worthy to be the hero he was seeking all along.  Awwwwwww, even cemented by Keeper inspiring words.  After Tyler and Shelby meet up with them and are shocked, they stage an escape from the ship while the other rangers are getting their a$$es handed to them by Greenzilla, when their zord power doesn't seem to be enough no matter what formation they do.  Yikes! O_O  Meanwhile, Sledge prepares to use the red energem to destroy the rangers' megazord while his minions search for the Keeper and the others so they don't escape.  I love the moment when Tyler overhears Sledge's plan and decides to stay to stop Sledge despite the immense danger he's in without his power.  Awwwww, Shelby all scared but Tyler remaining so brave to save the team; no matter what the cost.  REAL rangers again!

Like I said, even when the odds seem so against Tyler, his persistence leads to that unforgettable moment the getbot finds his energem and his last fight with Sledge, while all too brief, has this awesome moment of Tyler sending him flying across the bridge into the navigation console; which forces the ship to begin crashing toward Earth.  While Tyler figures out his way off the ship, Sledge's ship crashes....seemingly killing him and the others....for the moment while the other rangers rescue Tyler with the Ptera Zord just in time to form a new megazord powerful enough to finally defeat Greenzilla: Plesio Charge Megazord Pachy-Rex Formation.  Once again, a whole mouthful for a megazord title but it certainly gets the job done as all 8 rangers (Yeah, Sir Phillip returned for this mission! Well done! :) by using their new formation for a very climatic defeat of their toughest megazord battle yet.  So with 8 energems found, Kendall, Ivan and Koda will stay behind with Keeper to look for the last two energems while other rangers go home to be called if they are needed by the other rangers again.  Awwww I love this ending so much, especially how the episode ends with how the season began with Tyler, Shelby and Riley riding off together. :)  Unfortunately, Season 2 is right around the corner and it appears that a creature with solitary confinement on Sledge's ship is free takeover now....uhhhhh ohhhh.  Great cliffhanger.  What else can I say! Superb ending to a pretty great season overall. :)
