Season 21, Episode 17: Vrak Is Back, Part 2
"Vrak Is Back, Part 2"
Episode 17
Air Date: November 1st, 2014
Ewwwwwwww.....forget about MMPR Season 1 being the most repetitive season of the franchise, especially when the average of these past 2 seasons of Mega Forced is endless proclamations of "we'll never give up! We're Earth's defenders! The power of humanity....BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!" Jesus Christ!!! The most wash, rinse, repeat writing I have EVER seen from a show. These rangers have zero development! Known and yet, once again, Robo Knight of all of them, the freakin' Robot who disappeared and reappeared after the rangers and their mentor seemingly forgot about him, gets this climatic end to his character. There's all these emotional resonance with Robo Knight, especially Troy, who is seemingly fighting for his life to get Robo Knight to stop being evil. My goodness, Andrew Gray goes from literally the most expressionless acting I have EVER seen to the hammiest, most over the top performance because Troy is so desperate to make Robo Knight remember his original mission as he kicks Troy's a$$ around a warehouse. If that wasn't the most random development of this two parter yet.....suddenly, Troy turns into freakin' GoKu and superpunches Robo Knight back to normal! All this energy and power emanating from him and all!!! I just......can ANYONE be a writer for this show??? No seriously, seems Tzachor and his team were hired to be awful and the most senseless writing team Saban or Nick could find at the time. No explanation! Troy has visions of future battles and can go super sayen at random!!!! No character development! No backstory! 3 episodes left and they rather add more questions to a series that is drowning in stupidity and infuriating questions than finally resolve some.
Oh and the rangers just keep using their previous zord arsenal from last season like nothing's happen, like they could have ALWAYS done that. I mean you could have used your endless fleet of giant machines that Gosei handed out to you EVERY EPISODE. LITERALLY! -_- To have destroyed the armada by now but let's just use them when we can't conveniently use our more advanced powers that we still know nothing about. Where did they come from??? How is Orion being used to shut off the accessibility to legendary powers and Super Mega mode??? Seriously, explain SOMETHING! Don't just act like you will because we certainly don't know why Jake's Super mode is Green after Gosei told him he'd explain!!! *Wrath of impending fire and brimstone* Tho I have to hand it to Vrak (Funny how the episode is suppose to be a hilarious rhyming scheme but Vrak is pronounced complete differently in the show that is makes no sense! O_O *Insanity intensifies beyond words* He has been the most persistent villain of the last two seasons; giving the rangers their toughest fights between both. But even in the end, it amounts to virtually nothing as they destroy him conveniently by tapping into his own power source aka an eclipse to finally destroy him for good. How??? Why??? A simple explanation for that OF COURSE! :) *Head falls off*
Why even bother reviewing this show at this point and making sense out of things that the writers' didn't even care about???? Honestly!? Vrak's defeat in the grand scheme of things means nothing as the rangers STILL have the armada to deal with and once again, where the hell IS the armada during all this??? Regrouping??? Planning??? Why not be surprised by Vrak's return and coming back to fight the rangers??? Oh and Robo Knight saves Orion just to sacrifice himself and give him all his energy. Now Robo Knight will live inside of Orion forever....hey I didn't write this crap! I'm just reviewing it! LOL Sigh....
