Sigh.....it's like this season is stalling until the actual anniversary season because these plot are so throwaway, why even bother making an episode centered around it.  It's episode 17 and the only character that seems to be getting character development is the robot! Yes, Robo Knight is learning about human customs and emotions; making him grow closer to humans but as the for the main five......  Have we even seen them in class since the beginning of the season? Any flaws that need to be explored??? Any personal obstacles to overcome??? Oh no, just a bunch Sentai fights edited together by a flimsy storyline???  I guess so! -_-  The thing is....this episode has to be the dumbest plan the villains have EVER come up with, after an episode where Metal Alice seemed to be the only villain strategizing against the rangers and possibly coming back with a win.  Here, the writers have them stop a train from arriving on time and for some reason, focus on a mom and her family as they wait for her train but she doesn't; making her son all worried that mommy isn't coming! Honestly, if feels like a story that made waaayyyy more sense in Japan since you know, their love for trains is something that isn't as popular as America.  Also, this isn't even a plan or scheme....it's a minor inconvenience at best as the train operators manage to get the train running during the rangers fight against Metal Alice. ......Yeah.....great job villains! You made the train VERY late and pissed off some passengers! Surely the rangers are no match for such a diabolical scheme! -_-

But then they decide to add the fact that there's a bomb on the bridge where the train goes through that the rangers have to disarm but even after Metal Alice manages to stop them and destroy the bridge, Gosei just awards them new zords because.....of their courage and bravery!?? O_o  For what, for getting up after the bridge exploded???  How does that mean a new set of zords for them??? My goodness, this handing out of zords is absolutely beyond laughable.  There is no challenge for the rangers this season because Gosei and Tensou just give the rangers new zords when things get tough.  They already have live like an army of individual zords and more megazords than ANY team has ever had...yet they need new zords every other episode to save their a$$es.  Omg!! What is the point!???  Stop throwing things at these characters already and focusing on actually building on their personalities. I can't even remember the last episode that focused on a ranger outside the last??? Maybe the one with Gia and Emma fighting each other??? Bah!

Oh look, the Jet zords become the Gosei Jet Megazord! Seriously, these megazord names are horrendous! Gosei {insert} megazord, Gosei {insert} megazord, Gosei {insert} megazord......oh maybe this one....Gosei {INSERT} Megazord.....nevermind!!! *Head floor* But don't worry that family reunited and had absolutely no purpose to the story outside of that kid answering random questions about humans when Robo Knight is curious.  That's it! Nothing else to see here! Metal Alice even comes back restored back at Vrak's underwater base like nothing happened.  Great showing of how awesome the rangers new megazord is.  It's almost like it wasn't even needed but hey, it's not like all these things will be dropped a year from now for no apparent reason when there's a limitless army of foot soldiers during a massive alien invasion on Earth! Let's get contrived people! Let's get contrived! :)
