Season 20, Episode 13: Dream Snatcher

Man, this season of the show is preachier than the average episode of Mighty Morphin' during its first season!  Hell, it's even more preachier than the average episode of Captain Planet and the Planeteers!!! O_O  Jesus Christ! Just cause it's a kids show does not mean is has to be this ongoing PSA to teach them lessons.  Kids are not dumb and hitting them over the head with dialogue that constantly brings up the moral of the story every single scene is beyond annoying and insulting! -_- These seasons under Tzachor in a nutshell are empty, idiotic messages to kids by dumbing down the story and ramping up the morality to an abysmal high! -_- So this episode is all about people's dreams! But I noticed it doesn't really make sense, see there are dreams aka personal motivations we strive for to become or achieve something and then there are dreams we have when we are sleeping that show us something subconscious through vivid imagery of everyday life that becomes ambitious stories to tell us more about ourselves.  Apparently, the writers don't get the difference, so we have this monster, Dream Snatcher, going around stealing people's dreams when they're alseep, but thanks the Toxic mutants boosting his power with Vrak's Aurora box, he can now steal people's dreams while their awake.  Aka the things that they fantasize day in and day out about someday achieving or doing.  Hmmmmm makes sense!

 

The rangers and Robo Knight soon discover what's going on as the people who's dreams that he steals become unconscious and grow roots of despair that collectively will be turning the Earth evil or something. While the rangers are teaching Robo Knight about what dreams are since he's a robot and Troy once again sounds more robotic than the actual robot (WOW! This isn't even funny anymore! O_O), Emma gets her dream stolen from Dream Snatcher; leaving the rangers to have to save her too, blah, blah, blah.  While they try to wake then go after Dream Snatcher, Emma is stuck in this dream world where all the unconscious people are stuck; feeling all sad and hopeless.  But NOT Emma, she begins bragging about all the dreams she's going to achieve like some insane asylum inmate who needs a shot real quick and for some reason, it makes the monster in the real world feel sick because of all the hope she's inspiring.  The rangers are all happy cause they knows it's Emma because she LOVES being happy and won't accept defeat aka shut up! -_-  We get a very saccharine as hell scene of everyone believing in Emma's words and wanting their dreams again which unleashes all their dreams and brings them back to normal.  YAY....-_-.......  Soon Emma arrives with Robo Knight alongside the rangers and activates her Ultra mode to finish off Dream Snatcher with Robo guy! -_- YAY...

Oh right this is Power Rangers, this isn't over! Vrak summons those damn Zombats to make Dream Snatcher grow and the 6 rangers call on their zords to form their individual megazords.  But of course, that isn't enough at the rangers and Robo Knight preach like they have never preached before about dreams, humanity and HOPE! So they combine their both megazords and form one giant megazord to destroy him once and all.  Ya.....oh whatever! Then we get some last minute lesson the rangers are trying to teach Robo Knight before ending the episode watching some meteor shower over the city and wishing for a better world, omg!!! And Robo Knight is there watching.....probably wishing one of the meteors would come down and hit him if he's lucky! :P Filler....like much of this season is! FILLER AS HELL! -_-
