Season 15, Episode 31: Nothing To Lose

Ok, down to the last two episodes so let's just wrap this up!!! -_- With the jewel Norg stole from Kamdor, Flurious uses it to make Moltor's lair unstable as it begins to violently shake and rocks fall.  Meanwhile, the rangers are heading to Japan to get that special key to unlock the chest as Rose explains about the key being a three headed dragon that can unleash great power as usual for these kind of relics.  But as soon as they get to Japan, they are immediately confronted by Moltor and his newest monster, Magmador who faces off against the rangers while Tyzonn handles Moltor solo.  The monster is also very effective at countering the rangers attacks as he can replica their weapons with his own body.  Of course, Will doesn't catch on and gets slammed by the monster's version of his weapon (Good!) just as Mack comes out of nowhere with the Drill Blaster to force the monster into a retreat.  After brutally defeating Tyzonn, Moltor goes to the location of the key but it suddenly glows and buries itself deep into the ground like some sort of protocol to protect itself from those after it.  While the rangers regroup and try to track down the key, Moltor and Mamgador try to track it as well with one of Magmador's tentacles.  They track it down to a waterfall where the rangers intercept them as well.  During the fight, Will notices that Mack is being all self sacrificing as he is expendable aka just a robot while Will tries to convince him not too as they trade some friendly banter mid fight.  Of course they would, not like you're friends are busy fighting and could use your help...also why did they find the need to unmorph to talk just to morph again during the fight??? The hell??? O_O

Anyway, things get worse as Mamgador has grown and Tyzonn summons the Flashpoint megazord to stop him.  Oh and the Sentinel Knight comes out of nowhere during the fight and it actually useful during it for once!!! Wow, miracles come out nowhere on this show but unfortunately NOT frequently. Meanwhile, Moltor wastes no time is almost grabbing the key but Will some how superspeeds past him to take it.  Ummmmm, so....he can just do that now huh??? -_- Anyway, with his monster defeated and the key in the rangers possession, Moltor frantically heads back to his lair.  Back at the mansion, the rangers contemplate heading to Moltor's lair to get the crown itself as Mack overhears close by but Spencer tells them it's far to dangerous given the setting with...you know...a raging volcano with lava everywhere! O_o  But Mack is adamant about getting the crown as well as sacrificing himself as he taunts Moltor for giving up his humanity in exchange for power while Mack clearly wants so much to be human.  It's really dark and depressing out of nowhere as usual for this arc of the season which just seems so jarring juxtaposed to the overly gimmicky, cynical feel of the characters themselves.  Anyway, as Mack morphs and battles Moltor alongside his lava lizards, the rangers realize Mack as missing as Spencer has tracked him down to Moltor's lair as the signal from his tracker detects hi.  The rangers quickly hurry to get him as Flurious' meddling with the sapphire jewel, the volcano is going critical and destroy the lair around them. As the rangers arrive to get Mack, he tries to stay to get the crown but they all eventually head out as Moltor gets trapped among the rumble of his destroyed lair as the rangers fly off on the Shark jet.

What follows next is so idiotic and baffling I'm surprised it was even shot!!! -_-  Moltor.....heads over to Flurious' lair...with the crown...and a captured Vella??!! O_______O ......WHAT!!??? How.....when....where has she......0_0......      *breathes*.........Moltor is also acting so gulliable and pathetic by giving his brother the damn crown and thinking he will spare as well as help him after the rangers nearly destroy but OMG, Flurious double crosses him and destroys him???!!! ......Seriously, I couldn't care less about these villains at this point if I tried, more on that in my overview!!! -_-  Anyway, after we get another tense scene between Mack and his father about his meaningless existence (why so existential now Power Rangers!!?? O_o), the rangers finally head back to Egypt and open the chest...which has absolutely nothing inside...well except for a golden coin... Turns out that the coin is the last clue to where the jewel is and it turns out Hartford may have had it all along as after Rose and Mr. Hartford debunk their theory about sarcophagus and royalty, he places the coin on a sarcophagus that he acquired years ago from one of his expeditions. As Rose uses the other 3 jewels to see if they can reveal if the jewel is there, they are knocked back by the jewels' power...and the mummy starts moving and walking toward them.  Yeah....you guys better call Brendan Fraser, NOT Tom Cruise! :P For an penultimate episode...it was ok, average, decent, whatever last episode BYE!!! :)
