Season 15, Episode 22: One Fine Day

"One Fine Day"
Episode 22
Air Date: August 6th, 2007

............welp!!! My mom always said, "when you start something, you finish it!" Wait until I force her one day to watch this confounding series of the most apathetic characters and trite storytelling to such a degree, I'd be offended kids are watching this as it can cause serious harm to their  developing brain cellls.  But here we are, 10 episodes left and I finding hard more than ever to review something THIS bad.  I know I'm not obligated what so ever, but it's just such a shame when something you continue to cherish into adulthood reminds you that, "Yeah, why am I watching this again" like this season hammers you over with! -_-  At this point, I couldn't care less about any of this characters not Spencer but here we are, an episode centered around Tyzonn and especially Rose.  At first I thought we were in for another annoying Tyzonn episode like copying Will to insulting gentrifying proportions, but nope, it quickly turns into an episode of Rose being a nagging b!tch to and about Tyzonn when she could just sit him down and inform him why he's behavior is weird no???  Maybe even teach him more about Earthly customs instead randomly mentioning a friendship we haven't seen anywhere this season! Ar least Ronny showed so much compassion toward Tyzonn after his tragic backstory and Mack was the original one to see the good in him while working for Moltor, but him and Rose tho??? O_o Oh and the rangers have a day off this episode...oh really....so now absolutely no urgency for the jewels and the possible destruction of the world??? At least when the rangers took a day off in other seasons, it was reasonable, but these rangers have spent more time quitting than actually saving the world and my goodness, these jewels can be found at any moment but the rangers need a day off because!  Jesus, even Spencer is adamant about giving the rangers a day off even when the first sign of trouble alerts Mr. Hartford and himself.......ewwww, please! Not my Spencer, don't take my Spencer away too!!! :_(

For some no apparent reason what so ever, Norg is randomly roaming the forest and for some even dumber reasons, Dax wants them to catch to get more famous(er) than they already are....awwww thanks Dax, for reminding me how much I hate you to violently distract from the revolution of the rest of the season! :)  Also, Mack doesn't notice that's Norg from when he was captured??? O_O Anyway, the Fear Cats are also in the forest looking for some ancient relic to help them find yet another jewel and power up their new giant robot.  WOW!!! It's almost like the rangers shouldn't have taken a day off??? You mean the villains are out there looking for jewel while we waste precious time to save the world??? Errrrrrhh!!! -_- Anyway, Rose keeps b!tching until the rangers literally bump into a force field that apparently only Tyzonn can survive.  Since he's familiar with said type of force field, he'll use his Mercurian resistance to it the bring all the rangers along with him holding hands... BUT...for someone reason only Tyzonn and Rose make it, leaving the other 4 to find out what to do next.  I just LOVE how Mack just happens to have Excelsior with him and summons the now fully powered Sentinel Knight to help them....but he can't even open the portal no matter how many times he tries to punch through an almost infinite amount of times....WOW!!! Sentinel Useless is right!!! Could call with that insult!!! -_-  And yet, further off into the episode Mack is able to stop a giant robot from crushing Rose with the sword........consistency on power levels is ALL I'm saying!!! O_o So Rose and Tzyonn are stuck together; having to break the force field together, they run into Norg, hilarity (or some pahtetic form of it) ensues until one of the Fear Cats arrive to stop them.  Tyzonn is clearly weakened as he and Rose head to safety while the Fear Cat tries to blast them.  Then! We get a convoluted character development scene where Tyzonn admits why he's been so weird around her and expresses she never opens up about herself.  Turns out, Rose has NEVER though she was special and became a freakin' genius to be but still. never. feels. special!!! I kid you not, Overdrive feels like a much of amateur writers practicing on a kid's show at this point...cause HUH!!??? I can't even begin to NOT be mad about this stupidity in logic and insecurity.  She's a freakin' bio-chemist, extensive researcher, college professor, etc. That is not something you so cause you want to be special, you have to have tremendous patience, passion and extreme love for what you do to get to that level!  If anything, this hurts Rose' character to the point of "why bother then?"  ............................*sanity reaching a new low*.......

Whatever!!! Rose and Tyzonn find the seal for the force field, Rose destroys the seal while Tyzonn gets his ass defeated to where he's unconscious but Rose suddenly acts like she just lost her husband; running over and crying over him like he's dead.  Girl, this guy served being turned to liquid and was resurrect by two jewels....you two have just made a breakthrough in some resemblance of a friendship, excuse me but shut up. Just...Shut. UP!!! O_O Anyway, she morphs and the rangers arrive in time to save her from the giant robot. I love how one of the Fear Cats says, "Those power rangers never give up!!!"

......BBAAHHHHHAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHAHHHHHHHHHH!!!

*breathes in and out*

HAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! Hahahahahahahahahah! Ok I'm done! :)

They take the battle to their megazord and manage to push through the giant robot's powerful flames to be able to destroy the robot but the Fear Cats escape with some dumb proclamation of conquering the world, ehhhhhhh, these villains boy, my overview will be loaded with ripping the whole season to dust!!! O_O Yay! Norg saves Tyzonn....some how and now Mack realizes who he is!!! *HEADDESK* Oh but who cares, Rose can no open up and talk about herself.  Honestly, the only part of the episode worth any sort of merit is Spencer and Mr. Hartford once again hinting at the mysterious secret surrounding....so they had one great idea for a story thread this season and gave up on everything else??? Nice! -_-
