So we take a break from Mack and his android blues to focus once again on a two parter that's heavy on the story moving forward in terms of the jewel search, well at least leading to looking for the last jewel anyway.  Now with the rangers having 3 jewels, Moltor having the crown itself and Miratrix and Kamdor having a jewel themselves, the Fear Cats take it upon themselves to form the ultimate plan of riding the world of both the rangers and their fellow villain factions.  Apparently, the ancient chalice they stole last episode needs 3 other relics: a staff, root and something called the Sands of Sila.  Unfortunately, Tyzonn aka his actor has some performance anxiety (no not that kind! :P)  as he has a sudden temper tantrum about Vella. This leads to Hartford sending 4 rangers after the 3 relics while Dax (Thanks God!) and Tyzonn.  As the rangers track down each relic, they run into the multiple villain factions starting with Flurious and Norg....cause Norg just MUST be shoved into the story no matter what! -_-  Flurious has found the staff but the rangers arrive to stop him. As they battle a group of Chillers, Motlor and his lava lizards have discovered the root.  Lastly, Miratrix and Kamdor are in a desert and have found the sila which leads Hartford having to send Dax and Tyzonn out to help while splitting the teams up so that all the relics can be recovered by them.  Will and Rose deal with Flurious and the Chillers, Mack and Ronny confront Moltor and his lava lizards for a battle for the relic; just as Tyzonn arrives to stop both of them.  Unfortunately,  the battle doesn't go well for ole Ty as Kamdor brutally defeats him just as one of the Fear Cats steals the relic from them and escape.

We next see Tyzonn apparently waking up on Mercuria (Ummmm why isn't he just from Mercury???O_o) where Vella has been looking after him after almost dying in the cave him.  While Tyzonn tries to figure what's going on, Dax rejoins the rangers to handle each factions but the Fear Cats manage to also get the root and staff from Flurious and Moltor as well.  With each relic in their possession, they quickly mix them all together in the chalice that creates a powerful and vicious new giant monster.  The Fear Cats waste no time with the apparent creature that is strong enough to destroy worlds (Damn! O_O) as they tell it to show off it's immense power by blowing up a small mountain nearby and attacking the rangers.  The other villains can only watch as the Fear Cats combine with the monster to create an armored version of the creature with the chalice as their power source. With this unstoppable force, the rangers realize the  DriveMax Ultrazord as well as even the Battlefleet Megazord aren't powerful enough to stop them as the armored creature heavily damages both zords....damn! O_O They even attack the villains for good measure and leave both sides to pander the Earth's impending doom and their current failure.

Meanwhile, back on Mercuria, Tyzonn and Vella have talked to the point where Vella has convinced Ty that his life on Earth and being a ranger was just all a dream; that he has been home all along.  Of course Tyzonn relents since he's been reunited with his fiancee but even as the episode ends; the happily ever after ending eerily feels more ominous than hopeful which I absolutely like! :)  So, "Home Away" feels like the most spot on arc episode so far with each faction and the rangers coming at odds in possibly their toughest battle yet and I like the psychological mind game that's going on with Tyzonn.  Clearly things are not all that they seem and it leaves a lot to look forward to for Part 2....we can only hope anyway with this season. lol :)
