Season 19, Episode 20: Samurai Forever

"Samurai Forever"
Episode 20
Air Date: December 18th, 2012

So here we finally are at the very end of this Samurai suckfest that ran over 2 seasons!!! I have nothing to say, let's just get through this.  Xandred has just left to go after Lauren when the six rangers recover and decide to "never give up", "we're Samurai", blah, blah, blah and draw their spin swords to take care of the remaining Moogers.  It's actually a pretty awesome and well choreographed unmorphed fight which is nice knowing they are putting in some effort for the finale.  Back at the Shiba house, Lauren is using the last of her strength to power up yet another Shiba fire disc (Oh so they can just use another one now! -_-) and tells Ji to give it to the rangers as their last hope to finally defeat Xandred! Funny how Lauren sounds more like a mentor than the actual mentor of the team and can command him so easily. Back at the massive brawl between the rangers and Moogers, Ji soon arrives with the other fire disc...as well as some extremely cheap looking Samurai costume (Seriously, more embarrassing mentoring from Ji here!) Also he gives Jayden some other random disc that his father told him to give to him in times like this....ummm....what???!! O_O What about all the other times they could have used that??? How convenient that it is so powerful it can double their power! -_-

Oh whatever, the rangers quickly head out and face off against Xandred.  They make their final stand against him, even doing their Samurai poses unmorphed before morphing and charging again into battle.  After defeating the Moogers, the rangers set their sights on Xandred and manage to use their symbol powers as well as combined fighting styles to give him a MUCH tougher fight. Jayden even summons his Ancient Shogun mode to use against Xandred and boy is that thing beautiful to look at.  Same ALL the other rangers couldn't have that form too....really would have made the moment even more epic! Anyway, when it seems they have destroyed Xandred, he immediately grows as the rangers realize they must call on all their zords one last time for their toughest zord battle.  Even with the Samurai Gigazord, Xandred has enough power to send the rangers flying through multiple buildings and seriously damage their cockpit.  With things seeming hopeless, Jayden suggests they all demorph and use all of their powers for one last strike close up against Xandred to destroy him for good.  We get some quick dialogue about him being honored to have led them and be friends with them while the other rangers feel the same way, yada, yada, yada.

Anyway, the rangers begin approaching Xandred as he taunts and laughs at them; destroying multiple zords with each blow he hits them with until it's just the Samurai Megazord.  Finally the rangers get up as close as possible and use their combined powers to strike him with the megazord saber.  He's destroyed but takes the megazord as well as the rangers inside with him in an enormous explosion that engulfs the city.  As Mentor Ji arrives to check to see if they survived, all 6 rangers come out the rumble to his shock and joy that they saved the world.  "Samurai Rangers, victory is ours!"  Uhhh Hhuhhh....Oh look Spike is going home as Bulk says goodbye to him.  Omg!!! Who's in that limo!?? O_O  ....SKULL!!! :_( Never thought I'd be so happy to see him again but boy am I! Those two haven't lost a beat! Still bumbling as ever and can't seem to not bump into each other as well as things! Back at the Shiba house, each rangers prepares to leave with their own new plans like Antonio going on a massive fishing trip to catch the world's most exotic fishes.....yeah good luck with that.  Mia is going to a prestigious culinary school to actually become a good cook but mostly to force one last joke about her terrible cooking, har, har! -_-  Kevin is going to begin training for the Olympics since he only has a short amount of time to get back into his swimming and....Mike is going with Emily back home....uhhh huh...more on that in my movie review of "Clash". -_-  As for Jayden and Mentor Ji??? Oh they are gonna just chill and play the guitar instead of training now as Jayden plays the MMPR theme song...or rather this show's poor attempt at updating it.  .......O_O So that was Super Samurai!.........BYE!

Final Morph: C+
