Season 9, Episode 36: Circuit Unsure

Ummmmm...you know, I'm glad we got a Circuit centered episode before the season was over.  But...the thing is, the plot is stretched out and made intense toward the end; needlessly so because all Alex had to do was tell Circuit immediately that he erase his memory files of the future that HE did it! Then we wouldn't have an episode that is drawn out about Circuit feeling like inadequate about making mistakes or glitching; putting the rangers' lives in danger because he is seriously doubting himself.  Then you wouldn't have the rangers making comments about Circuit possibly making mistakes and something being wrong with his wiring, etc.  You see where I'm going with this??? O_o  I just feel bad for Circuit being put through that because Alex is such a freakin' jerk!!! -_-  He seriously waits until AFTER time runs out on the detonation and Circuit keeps telling trip he can't be trusted to stop it cause he might malfunction. It's like....WHAT THE HELL DUDE!!?? You clearly have been watching Circuit and the rangers through all of this in the future you @sshole!!! -_- So you wait until REALLY last minute to tell Circuit what you did and that absolutely nothing is wrong with him!!!??? I mean, it's completely in character for Alex but MY GOODNESS, lives could have been lost!!! WTF!!???

Anyway there's some plot movement with at least Frax continue his machinations to destroy the city and overthrow Ransik.  It's just cool seeing the final phase of Frax's plan beginning to take shape just as Ransik continues to track him down because of his betrayal.  But that's about it there with the villains this episode.  It was cool seeing Eric taking charge of the Silver Guardians again as we haven't seen him doing that in a while.  Also, I actually LOVED while the Silver Guardians were dealing with the Cyclobots, Eric was having a literal showdown with the mutant of the week, Serpicon.  It had a very cool old west vibe to it that I really like. Neat! :)

What I didn't like though was how Circuit stupidly put himself into harms way to protect the rangers.  Only because the rangers decided to use their V-Weapons to stop a fully grown Serpicon to help Eric and the Q-Rex.  Ummmm...why not just CALL ON YOUR ZORDS AS SOON AS HE GROWS AS USUAL!!?? -_-  So because the rangers do that and Circuit puts his life....circuits...whatever on the line, he can't call the zords now.  So we get the rangers hopping onto the Time Jet and using it to defeat Serpricon before Eric recaptures him with the Q-Rex....sigh....  Anyway, after Circuit gets repaired, the rangers find out there's nothing wrong with him and Circuit keeps Alex's secret about the future.  Which...why not tell them in advanced about the seemingly HUGE threat that's upon them??? Sigh.... Anyway, "Circuit Unsure" could have been MUCH worse but for an episode focused on Circuit and his character growth, it could have been MUCH better.
