Season 10, Episode 13: Revenge of Zen-Aku

I LOVE how this episode starts straight out the woodwork with direct confrontation between the rangers and Zen-Aku.  BUT before that, we get a scene between Toxica and Zen-Aku as she tries to see if he remembers what happened 3,000 years ago.  When the rangers arrive, she makes a quick and frustrating exit after discovering her doesn't as Zen-Aku calls on his Dark Wild Zord again to for the Predazord...again!  The rangers summon their Wild Zords and form the Wild Force Megazord but Zen-Aku beats the crap out of them again with the Predazord, forcing them out of their zords and to demorph.  As Zen-Aku prepares to finish them off, the Gorilla and Bear Zords come out of no where to save them, sensing they were in danger; forcing Zen-Aku into retreat....for now.  Meanwhile, Princess Shayla "senses" something seriously wrong with Zen-Aku.....hmmmmm, I wonder why??? Maybe cause he's pure evil and has almost killed the rangers on multiple occasions??!!! O_o Anyway, she wants to go to the tomb where Zen-Aku was released alone but Taylor strongly suggests going with for obvious protection.

Meanwhile, Zen-Aku senses the presence of an Org trapped and goes to release it.  As Taylor and Princess Shayla investigate Zen-Aku's sarcophagus, they hear sounds of an engine starting as they are attacked by a...Motorcycle Org...are you even surprised by this point?  Apparently, Taylor has history with this Org when she was first assigned as a ranger and he was just a tiny Scouter Org...YUP...SERIOUSLY!? O_o  Anyway, after Taylor gets beaten up by the Org, Zen-Aku grabs the Princess.  The Org soon blasts Taylor when she tries to save Shayla but before he can finish her off, Zen-Aku leaves her while they make their way off with the Princess..sigh.... Anyway, Taylor soon contacts the other rangers to tell them of the situation while Zen-Aku holds the Princess hostage...for what reason again???  O_o  I guess to find out more about his past since he can't remember???  Soon Zen-Aku begins asking her questions, like where she got her necklace from as it irks him.  Zen-Aku begins having random, vague flashbacks to some man and Princess Shayla together.

Meanwhile, as Taylor reunites with the other rangers, she tells them about her past with the Motorcycle Org when she was first recruited as a ranger and how scared she was fighting him.  Luckily, she was able to eventually defeat him and trap him with the help of Princess Shayla's magic.....yeah...about that....how does that work??? O_o  Anyway, Cole encourages Taylor and says she is stronger now just like this new Org and they will find the Princess.  Nice! :)  Anyway, after Zen-Aku cries out in pain and Shayla checks on him, Motorcycle warns his boss about the approaching rangers as they all head outside to prepare for battle.  While Taylor battles the motorcycle Org, Zen-Aku handles the other four.  Gotta Jindrax and Toxica's hilarious moment of thinking about helping Zen-Aku but abruptly deciding not to and leaving! LMAO! I really LIKE these two and they dynamic! :)

As Taylor defeats the Motorcycle Org alongside the rangers, Zen-Aku calls on his Dark Wild Zords again to form the Predazord as the rangers form their own Wild Force Megazord.  But once again, Zen-Aku is waaayyy too powerful for them and forcing them out of their zords again! Jesus, just give up guys, dude too badass too handle!  As Zen-Aku prepares to finish them again, Princess Shayla tries to protect the rangers but Zen-Aku tells her to get out the way.  Taylor comes out of no where to defend the Princess and gets into a one on one match with Zen-Aku himself.  As badass as the sequence is, Taylor is waaayyy out of her league as Zen-Aku forces her to demorph without Taylor realizing how badly he struck her without her noticing.  Yeah, Zen-Aku is just something scary!!! O_o As Taylor demorphs, she loses her two bear crystals as Zen-Aku takes them and makes a comment about "most rangers loses one"! HA! So now Zen-Aku has 4 of the rangers' Wild Zords! Awesome! :) As he takes off for them to "rebel in their failure", Taylor breaks down about losing her bear crystals as the rangers comfort her....but not before Shayla notices Zen-Aku was bleeding!!?  Holy crap! Blood on Power Rangers!!! This season is DARRKKK MAN!!! O_O Anyway, another strong and pretty great episode in the Zen-Aku arc.  I just like seeing the rangers being pushed to their limits and constantly losing.  It's like the Psycho Ranger arc where the rangers are being consistently overpowered but are being forced to push through in a fight that seems hopeless overall. Nice! :)
