Season 10, Episode 5: Ancient Awakening

Oh Alyssa!!! :)  Just look at her! Able to cook, go to college and be a ranger all at the same time with a perfect smile on her face! :)  God, I HATE these types of Mary Sue personalities!!! -_-  She's making the original MMPR team look edgier compared to her "I'm so good at things" personality.  Look at how she barely avoids running over that elderly couple! Awwww...how hilarious! -_-  Anyway, on an archaeology class trip, Alyssa overhears the roars of an elephant in a cave nearby.  She goes in to investigate and uncovers a craved shield on the wall that is very similar to the emblem on the rangers' belts.  She heads to the Animarium to ask Princess Shayla what it means as she appears out of the sacred well.  When Alyssa and the Princess decide to go together, luckily Taylor points out how dumb that is but Cole decides to go with them to guard the Princess.....could have disguised her or something instead of putting all this attention on her by what she's wearing but whatever! -_-

Meanwhile, a giant tire is wrecking havoc in the city and is stopped by Jindrax and Toxica.  Turns out it's an Org...or Tire Org I should say as they once again recruit him for Master Org to go after the rangers.  Soon Max and Danny, led Taylor go after him and try to defeat him on their own but he is too powerful for only 3 rangers.  Soon Jindrax and Toxica order him to go after the Princess since she is off the Animarium and vulnerable.  Tire Org quickly goes after her and manages to kidnap her after beating up Alyssa and Cole.  Sigh....you see, that why this whole "showing the Princess what you saw and bringing her to the outside world" was an extremely dumb idea!  Doesn't help the fact that Princess Shayla is...useless and all the rangers reunite to lose her.  Luckily, the Red Lion conveniently talks to Cole to grant the rangers their Savage Cycles.  WOW! -_- Isn't it funny how Cole doesn't know how to ride a motorcycle??? Well, it IS kind of hilarious actually. :)

Luckily, with their new and conveniently given new weapons they are able to chase down Tire Org and Alyssa is able to stop the Tire Org by using the brakes on her cycle. Don't ask, cause it works as the rangers blast him with their cycles and Alyssa catches Princess Shayla in an obvious and rather laughable stunt sequence.  After destroying Tire Org with their weapons, Toxica brings him back to life and makes him grow.  The Wild Zords descend and form the Wild Force Megazord but it isn't enough to beat Tire Org.  As the Princess discovers the cave and senses the immense power inside of it, Toxica and Jindrax force her to go into the save with them.  As Alyssa goes after the Princess t save her while the rangers battle Tire Org in their megazord, the Princess is brought to Master Org.  I just LOVE how he just blasts Alyssa like she's nothing and threatens the Princess release the power inside the wall.  My kind of villain so far! :)  But Shayla says only the spirit inside can chose its guardian aka pretty much admitting she is useless!  When Master Org can't get the power to himself, he blasts the wall and leaves Alyssa as well as the Princess for dead before disappearing...LIKE A BOSS! :)  Jindrax and Toxica soon leave to as the battle outside rages on.

Soon both Shayla and Alyssa awaken to the destroyed emblem but Alyssa is still able to regain it's power as the elephant chooses her as it's guardian. After morphing, the two head outside and Alyssa summons the Elephant Zord from the side of the mountain.  COOL! :)  With the Elephant Zord, the rangers are now able to use a new formation of the Wild Force Megazord: Sword and Shield Mode.  With the new mode, the rangers are able to block Tire Ord's attacks with ease and destroy him for good.  So everything is all joyful now as the Princess believes there are more power animals out there despite thinking none survived the great war 3,000 years ago.  Meanwhile, Cole is busy trying to tame his Savage Cycle....hardy har har??? O_o  The thing is...the episode has too many glaring flaws for me to like it and introductions some serious problems this season will have overall.  Princess Shayla...is useless....having no real power or able to defend herself. -_-  The rangers are constantly  being given new weapons out of no where for no reason! I mean this episode alone they get new motorcycles AND a new zord! -_-  Princess Shayla shouldn't have been brought out of the Animarium without the rangers changing her clothes! -_- I mean...come on!  At least Master Org is proving to be pretty menacing and unpredictable so far.  That's the only thing keeping me intrigued and invested at this point in the show.  Oh well....
