OMG!!! It's Vypra!!! O_O Kill it with FIRE!!! Ok, fine, I guess I'll be nice this time because this team-up was MUCH better than last season's disastrous "Trakeena's Revenge"...but STILL, of all the Lightspeed Rescue villains to bring back, you chose the worst???  Luckily, I've gotten use to Jennifer Yen's poor performances....or maybe she actually improved to the point where I wasn't as bothered by her performance here??? O_o  Anyway, Vypra returns from the grave literally (which makes no sense since Queen Bansheera absorbed her into her but since she's a demon, I'll let it go!)  Her mini-demon army is cool though; each having their own color scheme that's a counterpart to the rangers.  Seems Vypra is on a revenge mission and needs a "solar amulet" from the Silver Hills Museum (gotta have that tie in some where!).  For some reason, she can't take it...because she can phase through glass but can't break it?!! -_-  Seriously, Vypra???!!! LOL  Anyway, as she retreats, she's intercepted by the Silver Guardians but she makes quick work of them; leaving them defeated and badly injured before teleporting away with her goons.  As the Time Force rangers arrive and ask what happened, Eric can't explain it as they help the Silver Guardians get back on their feet.

Later, Ransik (Oh how I've missed him!!!:) and Nadira (ohh how I've not! -_-) are woken up by a mysterious visitor in their Cryo-Prison that turns out to be Vypra herself.  After scaring Nadira into pure unconsciousness, she tells Ransik she needs his help stealing the amulet as she will be able to summon a Super Demon named Quaganon.  Ransik is hesitant at first to work with him but when he finds out they have a common enemy in the rangers, he gleefully agrees.  As the rangers devise a plan to stop Vypra and her goons from stealing the amulet again, they realize Ransik is also involve.  But before they can stop him, Vypra intercepts them with her minions and orders them to keep the rangers busy while Ransik gets the amulet.  After defeating the rangers and taking off with the amulet, the rangers realize Vypra and her goons are clearly not mutants....just a very familiar looking humvee pulls and and freakin' Carter Grayson introduces himself! GAAAHHHHHH!!!

Ok, I'll calm down and continue this review despite the return of the awesome sauce Carter Grayson in all his glory!!! So Carter wastes no time informing the rangers of what Vypra is up to and tells them he will call on his "friends" to help them.  We quickly see what Dana,  Joel, Kelsey and Chad have been up too and for the most part makes sense.  Dana is finally a doctor, Kelsey is doing Kelsey stuff and Chad is a lifeguard.  But more importantly, Ms. Fairweather decided to stop being a teasing b!tch and marry Joel as they head out to their honeymoon! WOW! :)  Could have discussed helping Carter as a couple before deciding for Joel that he would....I mean I know the fate of the world is at stake but jesus Ms. Fairweather, you're freakin' Mrs. Rawlings now! Ehhhh!!!  Anyway, Wes and Carter track down Vypra and Ransik's forces to an abandon train station where they are preparing for the ceremony to raise Quaganon.  But before Vypra can finish her incantation Carter kicks the crap out of here as he and Wes dispatch the Cyclobots as well as retrieve the amulet.  Vypra isn't happy to see Carter again as Ransik tries to destroy them as they get away.

They both think they lost them but Vypra is on their tail....in her Vypari.....-_-....Yes, that stupid car is BACK!!! Anyway, when she corners them, Wes literally runs into Ransik and forces them both to hand over the amulet.  Before Carter can smash it, Nadira reveals they have captured the other rangers and Carter decides to give the amulet to Vypra to save them.  As Vypra finishes the incantation, the amulet turns into Quaganon himself and she orders them to destroy all 6 rangers.  Luckily, the rest of the Lightspeed Rangers arrive to help and we get an awesome stare down by Ransik....who gets told by Ryan and Eric who arrive, that he has to deal with 12 rangers instead of 10.  Awesome!!! But how did Ryan hear what Ransik said...in the car....as they arrived???  O_o  Anyway, all 12 rangers morph and it's AWESOME!!! Finally, all the right morphing sequences are used again, this is the first time we've had a team-up of 12 rangers and the end explosion in the background after the morph has returned too!  This is a freakin' team-up and how it should be down.  The individual face offs with the ranger couterparts and each of Vypra's minions are fun, if not far too short.  Also the resolution of the fight is freakin' anti-climatic as hell.  Yeah, I know it was the combined strength of all the male rangers' battlizers but it was just so quick and abrupt for the supposed big finish but hey, I'll give credit where credit is due.  The Time Force and Lightspeed teams get a chance to truly interact with no little annoying child getting in the way.  All actors are present, no bizarre and painfully frustrating ADR, etc. It's just cool seeing these two teams bond whether it's Joel being an insensitive douche or both teams exchanging jackets.  But since when did Wes have a Time Force uniform tho??? -_-  Anyway, "Time For Lightspeed" is a good team-up for the first one off team-up episode instead of a two parter. Certain things were rushed and not able to be explored for that fact but it still got the job done for what it was! :)
