Episode 25
Air Date: July 28th, 2001

Well, I will say I enjoyed "Part 2" more than "Part 1" just because we get through those movie genre dimension sequences pretty quickly instead of jumping from each one for an episode and getting either bored or amused by one of them.  Turns out the secret to getting out of the movie dimensions is..destroying Cinecon's clipboard??? O_o  Yeah, I don't care how overly silly it sounds as I've had enough of some of these poor movie genre cliches, especially Katie's, who's musical sounds like some kind of pre-school musical than something off of broadway! YIKES!!! O_O So when Trip figures out from Circuit that the key to escaping the movie dimension their in is the clipboard, they devise a plan to blast it and free themselves as well as the rest of the rangers' from their movie dimensions. Poor Eric though....running into a wall like a freakin' Looney Tune! Ha!  So once the rangers arrive back in the real world, they run into Ransik and some Cyclobots dressed in Mad Max attire and directed by Cinecon to destroy them.  This is all tough in cheeck and funny since you know, Vernin Wells was in Mad Max 2! :P

So the rest of the episode sees the rangers running into movie set shenanigans now like running to tourists, craft services, the wardrobe room (PRICELESS!) and eventually spliting up to defeat Ransk and his forces.  Also, can't stop to mention the moment where they masquerade as some rock band to confused Ransik and the Cyclobots.  Gave me Crash and the Creeps vibes from Turbo lol.  I really love how this segment of the episode ends though as the rangers find themselves in a desert for a climatic chase scene.  They finally morph after their Vector Cycles appear for the race sequence.  We get some nice action bits here, especially Jen and Wes pulling off some awesome moves on their respective cycles before Ransik runs into his Cyclobots for a HUGE impact and explosion.

But the episode doesn't end there as after Ransik's "death scene", Cinecon decides to take matters into his own hands and make himself grow by revealing his mutant DNA.  Since his movie spell is still in affect he's able to summon the Time Force Megazord, Time Shadow and even the Transport Megazord from the future to the present without the rangers calling for it.  When it seems the rangers can't effect Cinecon and win, Trip remembers he stole the last page of the script for an autograph, giving the rangers the power to break the spell and defeat Cinecon.  It's just a really cool last battle, especially seeing the Transport Megazord fight and Eric coming out of no where to help with the Q-Rex.  So the episode ends with the rangers recovering from their movie genre overload, especially Wes and Trip, who backs hurt from all that bar fighting in the OLD WEST!!! LOL All and All, this was a pretty uneven two parter that was fun but ultimately forgettable.  Part 2 was great but Part 1 was just SOOOOOO dull.  On to bigger and MUCH better storylines thank god as the season arc gets SOOOOO good from here! :)
