Season 20, Episode 20: End Game

Let's just get this review out of the way shall we! -_-  This is the finale so there must be something that happens here that worth talking about right???  No not really! That's the problem with Megaforce in it's entirety.  There's nothing to talk about.  This episode is the great final battle between the rangers and Vrak, Metal Alice and the Messenger but it's all so inconsequential; ending on a series of cliffhanger that won't really amount to anything next season as the story continues. -_-  What exactly is even the point when even when the rangers are put in jeopardy, it's so easily solvable that it's all just wasting time frankly.  There's absolutely nothing about this episode that even feel grand or the stakes are being raised.  Yes, even when the inevitable invasion happens at the end of the episode, you just really don't care.  Also, Robo Knight seemingly disappears during the last fight after managing to help the rangers' morphers get back their power.  One wonders if the morphers are without power, how are they even able to stay morphed??? O_O

I wish I could really talk about moments in that resonated with me or felt like an escalation of threat being imminent help but NOPE! The three villains left just start a random attack and the alien armada is just on its way!!!  The rangers manage to destroy the Messenger after a "tough battle" as Vrak was steal their powers but like I said, Robo Knight fixes that almost instantly so what was the point of that I don't know. So Vrak and Metal Alice are next but are easily defeated by the rangers as well. But when it comes to actually finishing off the general, Vrak does it himself.  Why??? It doesn't matter cause all of these villains are superfluous because the story is so nonexistent. -_-  All of sudden, Vrak has to go into hiding because of the armada is coming aka the other prince and they won't recognize him so must quickly make his exit.  Yes, because explaining this will be a problem???  Oh right, because we' moving on to new footage from another sentai next season so.....*Headdesk*

So the armada arrives after a hilarious scene of Gosei telling them to morph after they unmorphed??? O_o  So the invasion has begun and hundreds, if not thousands of warships arrive; blasting everything in sight.  The rangers are soooo overwhelmed by running and hiding for cover....even tho their near limitless army of zords would come in handy right about now but whatever! -_- All Troy is thinking about is going after Robo Knight and finding him.....because....friendship!!!! O_O  Idk, Endgame is a terrible end to a nonexistent season of sentai footage mixed with original footage that amounts to nothing.  Oh great! Now let's move to Super Mega-WHY but first my overview! :(
