Hard to believe this is the 17th season of the show yet we've NEVER had 6th and 7th ranger introduction in the same episode!!! O_O  Well, RPM certainly has been full of surprises and my goodness, this episode is worth viewing for one of the most touching and heartwarming scenes of the franchise as Doc K is reunited with some old "friends". :_)  "Ghosts" actually feels like a Part II to "Embodied"s Part I since it directly follows the last episode with the rangers finally making it to Omega City after their suspenseful first meeting with Venjix and some random pilots in two new zords coming out of nowhere to save them.  Once again, Eddie hits it out of the park with the self aware humor as the rangers try to comprehend what just happened by throwing out ideas of what their unforeseen allies could be.  Flynn thinks it might have been Ghosts while Ziggy can't help but rant about how idiotic that theory could be when they look like ridiculous giant zords like theirs.  Then of course is Summer calling it weird while Ziggy retorts that with the fact she drives a giant teddy bear and he drives a giant green fish!!! Ha!!! 

Anyway, once the rangers arrive at Kenmore Square, they head out just as Doc K has just found out that the device that was on Dillon's neck is the same signal that is emitting where the rangers are aka it being a trap!!! As Doc K tries to transmit a video transmission to the rangers, the rangers find the sign in Dillon's memories but decide to split up when he can't remember anything yet.  After a very hilarious sequence of Doc K scaring Colonel Truman into making the transmission's frequency stronger, Flynn and Ziggy manage to head back to the RV and hear Doc K tell them that the memories that Dillon had are false memories as they are likely in a trap.  As the rangers reunite, Flynn and Ziggy tell the rest of the team what's up just as they are knocked back by a bomb thrown at them.  Leading the ambush is Dynbot and a squad of Grinders ready to welcome the rangers to Omega City and take them out.  As the rangers fight off the Grinders, they immediately begin fighting Dynabot together before morphing.  But when it seems the bot is too much for them, the two zords reappear as two rangers job out to catch one of Dynabot's bombs and throw it back at him.  The Gold and Silver rangers, a male and female respectively, proceed to kick some major ass as auxiliary rangers in their debut episodes do as well as kick the crap out of Dynabot into a retreat.  The two immediately leave as the rangers try to get their names and demorph but they just decide to head back to Corinth. Gotta say I love that moment of dialogue from Dillon about the rangers "being the answer" and him just "looking for the question".  Very deep and poetic stuff for this show! 

But unfortunately, Venjix's plan is still underway as he checks in to see if Dynabot left a bomb on the rangers' RV; which he did; leading to the RV going off a cliff and blowing up right after the rangers morph and narrowly escape.  The rangers are soon greeted by Venjix, Dynabot and General Shifter who immediately captures the rangers with a virus over their suits.  But before Dynabot can finish them off, the two zords return as Gold and Silver arrive for round two apparently.  Gotta say, I really love the Gold and Silver suits.  It adds something new to basic uniforms with the wings and the design just looks so much more polish, even official than the main 5 suits.  I also LOVE their dagger weapons and how they can use ice (Silver) and fire (Gold) to easily defeat a large number of Grinders. As the two try to battle Venjix, both are evenly matched until Shifter tells Venjix to let Dynabot finish them off while they fall back for now.  The two rangers manage to use their weapons to jet power through Dynabot and finish him with their dagger blasters to destroy him for good.  After saving the rangers and releasing them from captivity, the two gleefully bring them back to Corinth in their zords while Doc K convinces Colonel Truman to bring the city's defenses down since she built the oncoming zords.  Like I said, the reveal of Gem and Gemma is just powerful and brilliant.  Olivia Tennet is just an acting treasure!!! How was she just 17 at the time!?? O_O
