Season 13, Episode 15: Wired, Part 2

"Wired, Part 2"
Episode 15
Air Episode: May 14th, 2005

Well it's great to see that this two parter not only has some major plot progression but it also teaches our team of heroes a lesson in ignorance and bigotry as well as furthering their arsenal once again by introducing one of the most massive megazords in the franchise's history! Yeah! O_O This one was extremely packed with morality, action and character development for our core team of rangers.   Hard to believe, but it's only episode 15 and these rangers have grown significantly from the premiere as they are always being challenge on their ideals and offensive beliefs, especially when they realize that expelling Sophie was an act of prejudice and not regulation as Cruger immediately sends the team out to find her.  Not to mention, it's Piggy of all people that make the rangers more aware that Sophie being a cyborg doesn't excuse how refer to her as some "thing", rather a person like them, even calling them the monsters as they once again scare his customers away because of how the alien inhabitants look at them. It makes the rangers quickly realize that they aren't the most opinion minded individuals and that their extremely rash judgement of Sophie has now made her an open target for Valko.  Of course, it doesn't help that Piggy sells out so quickly when Valko is violently chasing after her (Seriously, one minute he's terribly insightful, then a major snitch the next! Such a divisive character in terms of likability! O_o)

Unfortunately with Sophie in his position (God, now I'm doing it! O_o), he has enough power to make Goradon able to fully attack the city.  Back at S.P.D.,  Kat is having trouble putting Phase 2 of the D.B.E.S. to operate while the rangers finally track down where Valko is keeping Sophie thanks to Piggy's inability to keep his mouth shut for a price.  As Valko sees the rangers arriving in the woods, he confronts them and unleashes a squad of Krybots on them.  After an impressive sequence of them using their special powers to defeat the Krybots, they finally morph and face off against Valko who is able to more than hold his own against the five! Dammmnn! O_O Too bad Goradon is now fully powered up thanks to Sophie being its power source as it begins to attack the city.  After Valko escapes imprisonment by S.P.D., he heads back to Sophie to continue controlling Goradon when Sophie manages to break free from her connection with Goradon and escape.  As Valko chases after her once again, the rangers enter their zords and try to battle Goradon with the Delta Squad Megazord...but it's goes about as well as you'd expect since the thing is so enormous that any attacks don't even put a dent in it and it can lift the entire megazord like a chew toy! Yikes! Luckily, during Valko's recapture of Sophie, Cruger manages to hear her high pitch frequency so he can track her location.  He arrives in time to morph into the Shadow Ranger and in typical badass fashion, owns Valko in a fight and captures him with ease.  Meanwhile as the rangers struggle to fend off Goradon, they return to S.P.D. where the rangers finally relent and give Sophie a chance to prove her loyalty by activating main frame of Phase 2 of D.B.E.S. As the rangers head back out to face off against Goradon, Sophie is able to get Phase 2 running as Kat orders the entire academy to head to safe ports as the entire school begins transforming into a freakin' ultrazord type machine.

The debut of the Delta Command Megazord is without a doubt yet another memorable zord intro from this franchise as it could even be more massive than the Super Train Megazord from Lightspeed Rescue! God! O_O I love how it moves and connects to the Delta Squad Megazord as the rangers join Cruger in the cockpit to assist in controlling it.  Seriously, the thing is just as huge as Goradon and that finishing assault of mega blasts was just EPIC!!! :) Already can't wait to see more of this memorable megazord fend off Grumm's monsters in the future. Thanks to Sophie helping to save the academy, she is given a major position are technological consultant in an S.P.D. facility on another planet as the rangers congratulate her.  Too bad Mora isn't having the best day as a pissed off Grumm makes her pay for her failure by turning her back into a fully grown adult! Ummmm....weird!!! O_o  Seriously, Mora's such an intriguing yet bizarre character and I'm so eager to see why she ended up like a child and wanted to stay one. lol All and All, a phenomenal finish to this two parter with some wonderfully insightful development for the rangers, awesome action and a megazord debut that nearly crushes all others in size and power alone!!! So far, so good this season! :)
