Season 8, Episode 14: Curse of the Cobra

So....Ryan is screwed and you know, instead of telling anyone about the deadly tattoo on his back, he just decides to hide from everyone! I mean I get it that Ryan doesn't want to alarm anyone and jeopardize the team but the guy is jeopardizing his LIFE!!! Sheesh!!! My poor sexy Ryan!!! :( Anyway, the demons are plotting again as Queen Bansheera wants them to get rid of the rangers as usual when Diabolico decides to send his three monsters against the rangers as usual, he gives Demonite some kind of mirror card to use during his battle against the rangers.  As Captain Mitchell shows Ryan around the Aqua Base, Ryan soon after checks on the tattoo as he remembers what Diabolico did to him.  Carter overhears Ryan and sees the tattoo from the crack of the door.  As Ryan approaches the door, Carter pretends he didn't see anything as he shows Ryan the training facility but soon the alarms go off. As Captain Mitchell sees the attack by the three monsters, he is excited to order 6 rangers now to defend the city as the rangers head out to face them.  As the rangers arrive and help the innocent people covered in rubble, the three monsters approach them.  All of them morph and begin to fight the monsters and we get some really cool American fight footage.  But suddenly, Ryan cries out in pain from the cobra on his back as Carter comes to his rescue when Demonite almost finishes him.

After that, Demonite uses the mirror card, which creates a duplicate of himself.  With four monsters now against them, the rangers split up as Ryan fights off the duplicate while the other 5 face off against the other 3!!!  As their efforts prove not to be strong enough, Carter remembers that he hurt the duplicate of Demonite by hurting the real one and leads the rangers away.  Meanwhile, Ryan is getting his ass kicked by the duplicate; mostly because the cobra is rises up his back causing him tremendous pain!  As the rangers lead the three monsters to the docks, the monsters once again find themselves at a loss of where the rangers went.  Falkar manages to blast them down from above but realize the Red ranger is no where to be found.  Suddenly, Carter comes out of no where blasting them with the Unilaser and his V-Lancer.  As he has Demonite at point blank range, Falkar thinks he won't do it since it would kill him too in that range.  Meanwhile, Ryan demoprhs from taking too many blows from the duplicate Demonite as he prepares to destroy him with one final blow.  Unfortunately, he won't get the chance as Carter has a quick change of heart and fires at Demonite; causing a massive explosion!  Both Demonites are instantly destroyed and Carter is seemingly dead as the rangers, especially Dana mourn him.  Luckily, Carter is made of something truly badass as he survives with some major damage to suit.

Seeing this, Falkar and Thunderon are shocked as Jinxer arrives to make Demonite not only grow but stronger than before!  The rangers call on the Lightspeed Megazord but when the megazord has trouble against Demonite, Carter heads into the Rail Rescues to form the Super Train Megazord and with the combined finishers of both; destroys him once and for all! Nice! As Ryan congratulates them, he falls over in pain from the cobra.  Later, Carter confronts him about it and Ryan finally tells him what Diabolico did to him.  I love how Captain Mitchell overhears and stops Ryan from morphing again until they find a way to get rid of the tattoo.  Too bad he doesn't just take him morpher! Seriously, WTF!? o_O Anyway, this was good episode and continuation of the Titanium Ranger arc with some badass moments from Carter in particular! Nice! :)
