Season 8, Episode 15: Strength of the Sun

Oh shut up Queen Bansheera!!! Always showing up at the beginning of the last few episodes to threaten to take Diabolico's power star away from him and giving it to Impus.  It's no wonder he almost killed Impus in this episode in a hilarious moment that Jinxer comes in on.  So with two of his most powerful monsters left, Diabolico sends Falkar and Thunderon after the rangers to finish him off for the precious Queen! Meanwhile, Ms. Fairweather introduces Captain Mitchell to the Max Solarzord.  It's a powerful new megazord that her team built specifically for the Titanium Ranger...but since Ryan is out of commission because of the cobra tattoo, he tells her to hold off on it.  As Thunderon and Falkar attack the city, Ryan tries to join the rangers but his father, of course, stops him.  Just take his damn morpher away before he actually manages to get away and almost kill himself! Naw, but that would never happen right?! O_o  Anyway, the rangers arrive to face off against the two monsters and morph.  It goes as expected as the fight leads into a warehouse where the rangers get their asses handed to them again! Dana comes up with a plan and leads Kelsey away so that Falkar can follow them.  As he chases after them, she leads him to a warehouse where her and Kelsey literally cause the building to fall on him.  Not a bad plan all things considered.

Meanwhile, as Ms. Fairweather and Captain Mitchell watch the fight, Ryan is also watching from a few feet away; clearly worried about his friends and sister.  As the guys take on Thunderon on their own, Dana and Kelsey reunite with them; seemingly destroying Falkar.....only they didn't as he comes out of the rubble to finish them off.  As the rangers are blasted by Thuderon, they once again play possum aka pretending to be knocked unconscious as when Thuderon gets close enough, Dana and Carter talk over the plan once again before all five rangers blast him from point blank range.  As Falkar arrives to see all of this, the rangers use the combined fire of their V-Lancers to finish him off and destroy.  But soon Diabolico arrives to resurrect him and make him grow.  The rangers call on their Rail Rescues to form the Super Train Megazord but Thuderon proves to be too tough for even the massive machine.  As Falkar watches on, Diabolico approaches him from behind to hear him say he will be taking credit for Thuderon beating the rangers but Diabolico just forces him to grow and join the fight instead! Ha!  As Falkar appears, Ms. Fairweather quickly tells the Captain that both monsters are too powerful for the megazord to handle as it quickly loses its power.  As Ryan watches on, he remembers the CD-Rom that Ms. Fairweather had for the Max Solarzord and activates it.  He morphs and heads into the zord as it rises from the Aqua Base and leaves its port.

Ms. Fairweather is shocked as Ryan contacts her for some help.  Captain Mitchell is pissed but what did you expect when you had no personal watching him or....I don't know...take his damn morpher away from him!!! -_-  Anyway, Ms. Fairweather instructs Ryan how to make the megazord fly and he arrives to save the rangers from both monsters as they almost finish them off.  As the rangers are shocked by the arrival of a new zord, Ms. Fairweather orders Ryan to head to the sun to charge up the megazord. Man, the Max Solarzord is so cool!!! :)  It may be a the fraction of the size of the gigantic Super Train as it lands on it's shoulders, but it clearly packs a lot of a punch as it manages to handles both monsters with ease as it blasts them to bits.  But the overwhelming pain of the cobra tattoo knocks Ryan unconscious as Carter tries to reach him.  Back at the Aqua Base as Ryan recovers, he asks Dana how their dad will react as he arrives to see how he was doing.  Turns out, Captain Mitchell is proud of his son as he would have done the same thing.  But that pride is short lived as Ms. Fairweather and he see the cobra is almost at his neck.  Turns out if he morphs one more time, he will be destroyed as Ms. Fairweather concludes in the hallway.  Meanwhile, Diabolico says his three monsters aren't done yet as he carries three gems in his hands.  Overall, another great episode in this arc.  I LOVE the Max Solarzord!!! :)
