Season 10, Episode 28: Homecoming

Awww, those last 4-5 episodes were awesome huh??? It seemed the show had finally found its stride and was riding it strong...but then...it's like the writers were like, "nah, this season can't be too good, so let's write an arc that will be completely pointless and one of the most infuriating in the show's history"! :)  Yeah, cause that's what we want! Ehhhh, I have been seriously dreading this half of the season since I started watching Wild Force and I'm honestly going to watch this utter crap of a run of episodes because it's honestly insufferable at times. -_-  So in this episode, we are introduced to a little kid named Kite, cause apparently, he couldn't find a better name to name himself. Wow! -_-  As he runs from a group of construction workers into Cole, Cole defends the kid and tells them he'll keep him away from stealing their food.  Gotta love Kite tho! When Cole is being all compassionate and asking him question he just...kicks him in the leg and runs away.....-_-... There a special place in hell for how I'm already feeling about this little irritating brat! :P  Anyway, Jindrax and Toxica have brought Mandilok back to the Nexus and while he....or she (Seriously, what!!!?? O_o) can't decide what its true gender is, he decides to release two new Duke Orgs from their tombs to replace Jindrax and Toxica as his generals.  Honestly, I wish I cared about these two new Duke Orgs, Artilla and Helicos, but there's nothing really to them.  At least, Jindrax and Toxica have personalities and a connection between the two of them that feels genuine and is really entertaining to watch so they are seriously a downgrade we only have to bare for one episode thank god! o_O

Doesn't help that our new main villain isn't much better as Mandilok (confusing sexuality not withstanding) is very generic so far.  Apparently with a main goal of eating everything in sight to get rid of humans so that Orgs can rule.....wow....-_-  Anyway, so the rangers are busy battling the 3 Orgs while Shayla decides to confront and protect Kite.  Yes, Princess Useless tries to lure Kite out with food and look after him as the rangers fight for their lives.  Ok 1) Why is Kite with such concern and importance prior to Shayla and the ranges even knowing who he truly is???! O_o  It makes absolutely no sense.  Just tell Kite to go home or send him to some shelter so he can be looked after, there are more concerning priorities than some 8 year old annoyance who is inconsiderable and rude to every who tries to help him. But no, let;s just begin to drag this crap out with Kite before it even truly begins.  So Mandilok goes after Shayla and Kite when he smells Alyssa's food but luckily Merrick is there to protect them.  Thank God, what was Shayla going to do??? Suddenly no how to fight with no prior experience, knowledge or explanation...more on that down the line! -_-  When Merrick is done and Shayla gets hurt, Kite begins blaming himself....uhhhh yah think!? O_o

Anyway, after finishing the two Duke Orgs, Mandilok summons Toxica to make them grow.  Unfortunately, there has been some issue with the rangers calling on their Wild Zords in this part of the city and it happens to be because, thanks to Kite showing Shayla and Merrick, the ruins of the last battle of Animaria, that the destroy remnants of the ancient warriors and Wild Zords are causing this.  This would be more emotional and resonating if it was given more depth but after a quick prayer and request from Shayla and Merrick, problem solved and the Animarium Mural is fixed so the rangers can call their zords! Like I said, things are relatively easy for this team, it's kind of boring watching them being able to save the day with little effort.  So the Isis Megazord manages to destroy both Duke Orgs for good as the episode ends with Shayla and the rangers taking the Mural to the outskirts of town to pay their respects.  Gotta love random, annoying narrator coming back for NO. REASON! -_-  Just mind numbing and god awful!  :(  God, this arc man.....I can do this.....
