......before I start ripping these two part episodes a new one I just want to make this very clear....I. HATE. "Trakeena's Revenge"!!! -_-  It's by far two of the worst, if not THE worst, pair of team-up episodes from the show.  It's a clusterf%^& of potentially awesome ideas ruined by horrible writing, awful guest stars and numerous behind the scenes issues that held it back from even being mediocre.  Now I get it, the show's production were not the cause of this but the writers most certainly were!!! Juddy Lynn and his team have NO excuse for turning an annual team-up into a bizarre duo of episodes that focuses on unnecessary plot points and a one off child character that makes things far worse because of it.  I'm just gonna come out and say it, Heather and her actress are a walking migraine!!! Seriously, I am shocked by the need to forced child actors down are throats on this show when they are absolutely trash!!! Heather is annoying and it makes no sense why Carter as well as the other rangers would be okay with putting her in harms way just because she wants to be a "junior ranger"!  But if I must get more into this steaming pile of crap, I will! -_-

The episode opens in Mirinoi where NOT Leo takes the Red Quasar Saber out of the stone!  When next see him heading toward the city where a pack of monstrous creates in cloaks begin to attack him. I'm just more shocked and distracted by what the inhabitants of Terra Venture have turned Mirinoi into in such a short amount of time! O_O Seriously, I don't believe Maya and the other inhabitants of the planet were completely comfortable of Terra Venture's people turning it into an Earth 2.0 but whatever, these episodes have MUCH bigger problems, so forget semantics!  As Leo and the creatues continue to fight, the leader of them, named TriSkull watches and teleports away with them as they head through some kind of wormhole from Mirinoi to Earth....how??? Why??? It will never be explained.....HUHHHHHH!!! -_- Anyway, after being introduced to Heather and her mom, we see the Lightspeed Rangers doing their rescue squad thing in the only decent sequence of the episode as their theme comes on and Joel's ego once again is hilarious.  Sigh....if only the rest of the episode could have been this good!! :(  Anyway, as Heather's mom goes to her husband's office, Heather is distracted by her ball getting lost.  As she finds it, she just stares at her mom bizarrely before she gets captured by the creatures that were fighting Leo on Mirinoi.  As they bring her inside the office, TriSkull reveals him as he shrinks her and traps her next to her husband in some kind of small tube.  He orders his minions to drain her life energy as well before we she a familiar hand rubbing at one of the energy tubes.  Sigh...anyway, Heather tries to tell one of the secretaries downstairs about her mother being kidnapped but she just says "There's no such things as monsters".......

I.....I........WHATTTTTTTTTTTT!!!??? -_- -_- -_-

Monsters have been attacking the Earth for like 6 years lady, not to mention your own damn city for like almost a year but you don't believe her cause what?! She's a kid!!?!  I just.....I.....*High Blood Pressure Alert*!!!



Moving on, one of the creatures alerts TriSkull to the little girl's witnessing her mother's capture as he morphs into a security guard to stop her from telling anyone.  He almost gets her but Heather's ball throwing skills are too much of a match for them....I just.......-_- Are you f^&*ing kidding me?!

Anyway, as the rest of the rangers head back to the Aqua Base, they literally run into Leo on the road but my question is...HOW THE HELL KELSEY KNOWS WHO LEO IS AND THAT HE'S A RANGER!? Did word get back to Earth about the Galaxy Rangers??? O_o  Did the Space Rangers tell Earth about them after teaming up with them and heading back to Earth??? O_o No explanation, just brushed over at best!!! Grrrggghhhh!!! -_-  As Leo tells the rangers about why he's here, the Ghouls (TriSkull's minions) appear to destroy them.  We get a cool instamorph from the 4 rangers as they get blasted by the Ghouls I will say that but besides that, it was a lame fight! Yes, Kelsey, how could he have survived you flipping him over?! O_o  It's not like you haven't seen monsters serve worse before you half wit! -_-  Anyway, Leo defeats them with his Quasar Saber as they head back to the Aqua Base.  Carter runs into a crying Heather and after creepy security guy shows up again, he believes her story and decides to check it out.  While following him, Carter had to stop Heather from f&*( ing it up and for some reason let's her join her because she wants to save her mom too.  Yeah, because putting a little annoying girl's life in danger is gonna help matters?! -_-  She even almost blows they cover because she can't keep her overexcited mouth shut.  Anyway, as they follow the security guard, it leads them to an alleyway where the Ghouls attack them.  Heather is almost killed (What do you know!??? -_-) until the arrival of Kai and Maya!  Why Carter didn't morph is beyond me but whatever as Heather faints during the duration of the fight.  As Carter is happy to see the Galaxy Rangers (Yes, he knows about them too! -_-), they check on her and bring her back tot he base.

As all 8 rangers reunite, Leo tells the Lightspeed Rangers about their last battle with Trakeena...oh Lost Galaxy, how I miss you!!! Sigh!! :( But the awesome flashbacks are almost ruined by NOT Leo again!!! -_- Seriously, the ADR couldn't sound more NOT like him!  Anyway, Trakeena has come to Earth to get revenge on the rangers (Why she doesn't just go to Mirinoi to get revenge on the...you know....Lost Galaxy Rangers there is beyond me! -_-)  As Carter checks on Heather, Chad tells them of a disturbance they must attend too.  Like I said, Leo makes Carter reconsider and lets Heather come with them....even though she can get hurt easily and is an annoying useless brat!!! :)  As they arrive on the sight of the disturbance, the 8 rangers morph as they confront TriSkull.  I'll just ignore the bizarre use of the Gingman morph sequence instead of the...you know....Lost Galaxy morph as they two teams get their asses handed to them by the Ghouls.  Luckily, the three Galaxy Rangers are able to destroy them with their Quasar Sabers, but ultimately TriSkull gets the best of them as the episode ends with a frightening image of Heather screaming in horror....kinda like my reaction during this whole episode actually!!! :) On to Part 2.....-_-
