Well, that was it! What could have been just a decent finale to the entirety of the franchise ends up being a superbly satisfying conclusion to the season.  What I'm surprised about tho is that the final battle between the rangers and Master Org is bit underwhelming; focusing more on epic speeches and campy posturing during the final moments of their confrontation than the actual battle itself. Although, everything leading up to it was the perfect set tho as the Animarium falls right back into the spot it once stood 3,000 years ago.  I just love how depressing and haunting Turtle Cove looks as Master Org  rampages through it and rain and thunder roars through the Animarium.  Luckily, the rangers aren't despaired for too long considering they just witnessed all the Wild Zords die!  They head out to the city as Master Org orders his army to get rid of them as they are nothing more than a nuisance now.  As they struggle to fight the endless army of Putrids, Cole notices a terrible young actor in the form of a little boy being attacked by the foot soldiers and decides to go all Tarzan by ripping his shirt for no reason (Yum tho! ;) and swinging over to him to save him.  It is seriously over the top and damn near laughable but it does suddenly inspired the rest of the team to start kicking some ass by making their way to Master Org.  Cole tries to swing toward Master Org for some reason but just gets knocked aside.  Dude, you will NEVER be Carter Grayson! K?? o_O

So as the 6 rangers approach him and Master Org to literally blows them away, we get that really cheesy sequence of the rangers standing up to him with their own epic speech and posing like they never have before.  It feels more like padding out the episode than actually seeing the rangers defeating Master Org in any extensive and impressive way.  I mean seriously, there's even some random explosion behind when they have no freakin' powers left! HUH??? O_O  Anyway, as Master Org prepares to destroy them a spotlight breaks through the darkness of the sky as multiple spotlights follow and the sky becomes engulfed with the spirits of apparently ALL the Wild Zords, including ones that haven't been discovered yet.  Good thing too because there are like an army of them that destroy all the remaining Putrids and knock Master Org back a few times before the core 6 Wild Zords return to the 6 rangers.  Of course, they can't help but call out their individual zord names before they grant them their powers back.  Surprisingly enough, the rangers...do another roll call and pose before shouting out "Guardians of the Earth, United We Roar!" one last time as their Wild Zords appear behind them.  Seriously, glorious, shameless padding! -_-  The rangers soon combine the power of their crystal sabers with the power of ALL the Wild Zords to destroy Master Org once and for all.  But not before destroying the Org Heart as well this time with the Jungle Sword.  As the rangers cheer and rejoice, Cole takes some time to reflect and say his goodbyes to the Red Lion.

Yeah, you guys were so close. So with the Orgs defeated, the rangers and Shayla say their goodbyes as she plans to take all the Wild Zords and the Animarium back into the sky until they are needed again.  It's strange when Merrick offers to go with her since he was her guardian, she tells him "he's human and Earth is his home"....hmmmm...backstory on this would have been nice considering apparently Shayla is not human??? O_o Anyway, she tells them to give her their morphers and jackets (BULLSHIT! -_- At least give them something to remember being a ranger by, possibly you to, useless!) as Cole give them to her and thanks her for showing him his destiny.  Uhh huh...more on that in my overview.  So as Princess Shayla brings the Animarium back into the sky, the rangers along with the entire city watches on as the narrator returns..but this time in a female's voice.  The narrator soon tells us what each ranger did after their duties ranging from Taylor going back to the Air Force and sometimes flying with the Eagle Zord to Merrick some how being followed by Zen-Aku's spirit who joins him on his journey through the world...??? WEIRD??? o_O Even weirder, Max and Danny travel the world but there's no mention of Kendall...you know...the girl he gave up being with to be a ranger? Not even a brief mention of her since she was almost a vital and forced plot point??! O_o Oh, but at least we got a touching moment of Cole paying his respects to his parents and even Dr. Adler after everything that's happened!  Just showing how strong Cole's characterization was despite not much character development. Oh and Alyssa became a teacher and what a surprise..turns out she was the narrator the whole time! LAME!!! But the cutaway to the group photo was a nice final shot, concluding a season that I have SO many mixed feelings about.  But more on that in my overview! ;) But at least we got a worthy finisher despite a rather clumsy series about nature vs pollution!
